I was amazed with the old world charm and culture of Doha . Beautiful art and architecture a real Arabian Nights atmosphere! A. hidden gem of a city beautiful souks and open air dining and traditional food ,fabulous museum, so well laid out and very reasonable good hotels . Everyone looks at Dubai all glitzy and commercialised, but it is in Doha that you get the real feel of authentic Arab culture with a modern twist . Loved it!

I just used my Visa credit card during my stay. If you buy foods/souvenirs from street vendors, then you need cash, otherwise you can pay using credit cards.
