I worked at a theater when Norm of the North was released and we literally never had to clean the multiple theater rooms that it was showing in past the first day, and even on the first day the rooms were at most 1/3rd of the way full. I genuinely do not know who went to see this movie or how it was deemed successful enough for 3 sequels. Quite literally, we would sometimes go into the theaters showing Norm of the North just to sit down and relax because we knew it would be empty. And I worked weekends.

Also in February 2020, we got the live action sonic movie, at least we got some cool things.
One time when I was like 9 or 10 I went to the biggest mall near my house, and me and my sister just sorta walked around, we got bored so we went to the movie theater and watched norm of the north because there was like nothing else playing that day and after the movie was over, me and my sister were just like “well that was dumb”. I just think that explains norm of the north SOO well, off the cuff, a waste of a day, and even an 9yr old can tell it sucks. Sorry if that was long winded.

Ok, I unknowingly watched this a couple of weeks ago with my mum and sister (10y/o). We went "oh this movie might be fun, if a bit dumb". We spent the whole runtime going "man, this movie sucks. It's so dumb". I don't think any of us were even really paying attention, we just couldn't turn it off. I think norm trapped us in some horror cycle, we couldn't turn the "film" off until it was over. I do believe norm of the north is a cursed film in the most literal way.
That said, you missed some very important and absolutely bonkers plot points.
- norm's brother was trying to put on "shows" for visiting humans, by way of forcing norm to hunt and kill?
- when norm showed up in new York, he said he was an actor in a polar bear suit and everyone just believed him. They always complimented him on the quality of his costume. That's why the guy in the polar bear suit was so angry all the time, Norm stole his job
- there was some weird collusion between norm and the child of that woman who works for the real estate company. The daughter wanted her mother at home more, and norm wanted the homes not to be built. So they became friends? It was weird and uncomfortable.
- i thought they were setting up a romance between norm and that woman, and thank god I was wrong
- like I said I wasn't paying a lot of attention but this movie sucked so much

I’ve seen the second, third, and fourth movies. They’re actually so much worse. The second one wraps up it’s plot half way through the film and then just has some random hockey game go on for the rest of the runtime. It’s kinda pathetic. I’m fascinated with how the company making these films has this much faith in the character.

The fourth one doesn’t even make any sense because they’re in like this Arctic snow area and they call it China. The location they call the place isn’t even real so it’s obvious that they went out of their ways to make it China lol

2017: Am I a joke to you?
I remember having my photo taken near a Zootopia Cardboard Cutout as I watched Zootopia for my birthday, it was a good movie, but when I saw "Norm Of The North" take over the Cinema Lobby LED Screen, I looked up for a moment and felt a sense of dread. It distracted me a bit. Luckily I still got the photo taken.
I watched this movie on accident. I lived on a military base at the time and they were playing animated movies the entire week for a really cheap price. I watched this on the day Zootopia was supposed to be played. RIP.
I THOUGHT THIS WAS A FEVER DREAM! I FIRST SAW THIS MOVIE WHEN I HAD A HIGH FEVER WHEN IT FIRST CAME OUT! IT WAS ACTUALLY REAL!!!
