Yes, I agree. I've watched so many videos this one explained tempts ,how to color, add micas, bake ,bake time ,and packaging. Wow amazing to watch them come alive 👏

These are so adorable!! You have no idea how much this video just helped me out!!! I have been making freshies for about a month now. I have tried so many paints and nothing has worked, it always peels right off or sticks to my packaging and then peels off. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve tossed my hands up and said NOPE!! I didn’t even know these types of markers existed. I am about to order some right now! Thank you soooooo much!! ❤️
Of course!! I also will put a small piece of butcher paper or even copy paper in-between the freshie and package when I ship! Helps incase it heats up during shipping and none of the paint will stick at all!
I bought the Mama meltdown manager one along with some others a few weeks back using your code. They are super nice molds! Thanks for sharing. I was looking for a video showing what paint people used. This helps.
Oh my goodness these are absolutely amazing! You took freshies up several levels. You are truly talented and very creative and I appreciate you sharing. 🥰🤩😍
What did you say you use to clear coat over the glitter? And do the oil based pens hold up well once freshie is in the bag? I do a lot of outdoor craft shows and they may be in direct sunlight
Also, I saw another person thread button thread through the loop of the string and use that to pull it through the beads easier. That way the ends don’t fray as badly
@@damfancycreations I thought you might have!! I’ve painted mine before but never used it or thought of foil before! I’ll have idea images for something but it’ll be weeks before I end up with the time to fine materials and the best ways to use them. These are amazing! That’s definitely taking the freshie game to the next level! My wife and I were curious where did you get your silicone brushes from?
Thank you- the colors are stated in the video and my shop is linked in the description. :) but they are Sparkling Sage and Bella Luna from TheDrunkFlamingo.com
Depends on your climate. I use bug eye hooks and screw them in- I am in GA and it gets pretty hot during the summer months and I haven’t had issues with them melting off the hooks 💕
@@bethannew9207 haha well it does depend what size cookie cutters! Some of the silicone molds are just a little bigger, some are a lot larger- but most suppliers will list the size in their listings. :)
Hello, Love your video. I need help. I have tried oil base markers and acrylic paint as well as puffy paint and mine seem to stick to my packaging so the words that I color peel off. I thought that maybe using modge podge on it would seal it and work but I just had a customer today ask for help because some of her words were stuck. This is an ongoing problem I’m having. By any chance do you have any suggestions as I’m in desperate need of help 😊. I tried using wax paper as well over my project and still some slight issues. I’m at a loss. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you
I love these but it seems like a lot of work decorating just for the scent to go away after a few weeks. I assume they get thrown away? I mean I’d keep it cuz it’s cute but idk about other people. I want to make them butttt it’s very time consuming lol and I just wonder about taking the time to decorate them like this when you can’t use them forever. 😢
They do take a longer time to decorate than regular smaller freshies but I enjoy it. It might take an additional 5 -10 minutes which really isn’t that much more time. It is very relaxing to me and I also charge accordingly for the additional time it takes. ❤️
I've never made freshies but have a question, could you put a layer of beads then a layer of something like cheese cloth and then more beads so you don't see the fabric? Purpose would be to try to keep the string from breaking through the hole when it gets hot. This happened to someone and the melted plastic ruined the dash and console when it fell. I want to avoid this if I make them. Also, are there high temp beads? Super cute!!! Love the creativity!!!
Hmm I’m not sure, I have never tried that! Yep, if your car is parked outside all day in a hot climate I would recommend removing it from the mirror and just setting it down for the day.
About 30 mins. :) Yes, I only use spray when there are NO stones- if I do use stones I seal with something like MP or Quick Seal (from Artistry) I believe I was using 3-4mm stones. :)
Whats the total material cost, how much time spent. Can u share these details please. That’s awesome that your daughter has a mom that is so supportive of her creativity 😄 i should have everything linked in the description if you are wanting to know specifics prices of specific items.. Price can vary depending on your materials. The big silicone molds run around $20 but I definitely think they ‘up’ the freshie game and they do last forever! You can also go the less expensive ‘cookie cutter’ rout and get a few metal cookie cutters for a few bucks. Aroma beads run about $50/ 10lbs. You can make A LOT of freshie with that much. Fragrance oil runs about $3/oz. If you purchase a 4 or 8oz bottle the price per oz drops. Time- a few minutes to mix up the beads and oil. Turning every few hours the first day or so. They let them sit for about a week to cure. Then bake- 15-20 minutes depending on the size of the freshie. Then time to decorate. It really is a fairly quick craft- minus the cure time. Hope this helps!!
I watched another tutorial recently where the lady put a small hole in the top of her molds. Feed the string/wire thru the center. It all pulled out together once baked and cooled. Just be sure the string is non flammable. I’ve tried it and love it. Hope it’s okay that I shared this..🥰

Any suggestions on how to clean and get the scent out of the molds?
I haven’t had a problem with scents transferring but if I use glitter I will usually wash good with dawn soap and water to get all the glitter out ❤️
I know I'm a little late. Just wondering if the rustolum 2x seals the freshie and makes the scent less strong or shorter lived?
I haven’t noticed any negative effects. :)

How do you determine pricing? Your work is amazing.
A lot goes into pricing- mainly how much I want to pay myself and also staying within the prices of similar items.
What do you seal the glitter with?
Where did you get cow mold
The shoo is linked in the description. :)
What size rhinestones do you use on these??
Whatever size will fit best. Typically I use between ss12-ss20
I purchased the MaMa mild I can't get the detail to show up, can you give me some tips
Sometimes that happens but if it is REALLY lacking, you may need to bake it for an extra few minutes.

Thanks! I bought a pack off amazon!

Where is the glitter from and the name? Beautiful!

Either Rustoleum 2x clear or mod podge :)

What did you seal the glittered ones with?
Hi Chelsey, I mentioned in the tutorial that seal with rustoleum 2x clear. 😄
Gorgeous! Just double checking, you don't Modpodge over the crystals, right?
I do not 🥰
What keeps these from melting? (I’m guessing they’re not for summer?)
Depends on your climate. I use bug eye hooks and screw them in- I am in GA and it gets pretty hot during the summer months and I haven’t had issues with them melting off the hooks 💕
Does spraying the 2x clear smell not interfere with freshie smell?
It does not 😄
Would these be used like the ones you'd hang from the rear view mirror? Wasn't sure if they'd be too big or distracting?
These are exactly that. They are a little bigger than cookie cutter ones :)
@@damfancycreations ah ok, I've just been making the cookie cutter ones, didn't realize those molds were only slightly bigger. Thank you 😊

Hi! I usually slide small piece of butcher paper between the freshie and plastic when I go to ship them off. :)
@@damfancycreations thank you soo much!! I finally had time to try it and it worked ❤️ 🙏🏼 thank you 😊
I know you said you used the Rustoleum 2x, but do you use the gloss, or semi gloss, or matte?
Whatever I have on hand. It doesn’t make that much of a difference- matte does dry a lot quicker.
