Hi. I enjoyed watching this video and you decorated them very nicely. How long can you keep the beads stored in the jars once you fragrant and/or color them?
@@damfancycreations awesome!! I can't wait for the new tutorial! Thank you again for sharing your talents and ideas and information. I really appreciate it!🥰
I usually add nails or screws before baking to form a hole in the car freshies instead of drilling into them. I had a few break trying to fix them bc I had forgotten to make thr hold beforehand
Yep, I know that is the typical way so I just showed a different way. I prefer to drill a hole after just incase I decided I want the hole somewhere else than where I originally had planned. :)
When you first get your aroma beads do you let them sit until they don't have that weird smell to them or do you go ahead and use them? I have seen where some have said to let them sit out in an open container until they no long have that vinegar/plastic smell. I am just getting started and wondered if that's necessary?
I would say to watch them. If you park your car in the sun on a VERY hot day they COULD melt. My husband parks him truck outside 24/7 and has never had an issue with his though. :)
This is my first video of yours i've seen but you have to be from TX with those beautiful blue bonnets!!!! Thank you for this video. So easy to follow.
I would suggest adding glitter after the car freshie has been baked. Glitter will no absorb into the beads plus, it is plastic so it will probably melt in the over. You can go back and add some with clear spray, mod podge or something like tack it. :)
The birds chirping in the background is so therapeutic!

Can you use smaller cookie cutters for these and make em a bit smaller. Also can you used a heated exacto knife to trim with.....
Yes to both!
never knew how easy these were - TYVM
These are so beautiful! May I ask how much you would charge for them? Thank you for sharing!❤
Of course- for small ones like these I charge around $8. For the larger more detailed ones I charge $12+
@@damfancycreations thank you so very much for sharing. May I also ask do you ever add mica powders to them?
@@lindabrady370 I do! I am actually just about to release a new updated tutorial with newer molds, mica, glitter and bling decorations!

Do you put cardstock on the smooth side? Or the bumpy side?
The smooth side :)
What is that beautiful turquoise color you used

I have never let them air out :)
@@damfancycreations Awesome! Thank you!!!
Did you use only puff paints? What about acrylic?
I only use puff paint, fabric paint or oil based sharpie. Some paints don’t get good coverage or don’t stick to the aroma beads too well.
Do you find it better to use the metal cookie cutter or the silicone
I LOVE the silicone ones now! They are a lot bigger but they are so fun to decorate and customize!
Do these tend to soften, or melt, during drastic summer heat if in the car?
I would say to watch them. If you park your car in the sun on a VERY hot day they COULD melt. My husband parks him truck outside 24/7 and has never had an issue with his though. :)

How funny! I actually lived right outside of Dallas during elementary/ jr high. Down in GA now!
Do you use color pens
Can you use a air fryer oven
I would probably say no. But … you might be on to something new haha
6 ounces of aroma beads to1 ounce of fragrance oil, right?
Instead of cardstock can you use paper
Scrapbook paper is thicker but is not cardstock
Would paper work?
Do you bake them on the top shelf or the center shelf of your oven?
I would say it depends on your oven but I do center rack. :)
After the beads are dry do u wait a few days or weeks before you actually bake them?
No, you bake them as soon as all the liquid is absorbed. :)
Can a little glitter be added after you add the fragrance and mica?

@@damfancycreations Thanks! Loved the video! It was very informative and I have just put an order in on Etsy for some supplies!
@@gazebo18 of course! Have fun with it!
How long would you say the fragrance lasts on the freshies?
A couple months give or take- depending on how strong the scent is that you are using. :)
Do you use pencils to color your
Pencils to color what? 😃
Do you use a dedicated oven? If not dosent it leave a scent in your oven?
Nope, you can smell it while it is baking but it goes away when you remove them. :)
Did you say branbelerry?
I think the name is Lone Star Candle Co. Can u please double check on the name you listed bcuz I've been dealing with this company for years.
Haha yes, you are right. Auto correct must have gotten me! I have shopped with them for years as well! I live their scents!
Do you have a little birds I hear in the background
You are so amazingly beautiful and talented.... Love watching you....
Thank you!
