the viper deluxe 1000 has one of the greatest hard rock metal sounds ive heard ! i have a couple of higher end guitars and when i want to give myself the chills i reach for my viper 1000 , when you feel and hear this guitar go its special, i switch guitars all the time but ill never get rid of my viper, i bet in years to come they will end up being collectors items if there are any left from the metal world beating the shit out of em
I had a 2008 LTD Viper-400 and it was great except for the neck dive, which is why I traded it. How's the neck dive on your Vipers?
@@RiffRock51 I just bought a viper 1000 and it was perfect except for the neck dive. Bought a thick padded strap and it fixed the neck dive for the most part.

I wish there were more LTD Vipers and EXs available at the time. I found one in a guitar center today and I really had to stop myself from buying it,that's how much I loved it. For reference,I mainly play in E standard and Drop D. I have a Matt Heafy Epiphone Les Paul Custom and a Gary Holt signature ESP LTD Gh-600 NT. My Epiphone is too heavy for me so I'm getting rid of it.
You can tell she really doesn't care about talking guitar equipment. Haha.

$300.00 bucks is pretty straight for a used LTD 1000 series. The 1000/Deluxe South Korean guitars are second only to the Japanese ESP/LTD ones. (The B.C.Rich deluxe series are also manufactured at the same facility.) We had a custom shop Viper in our store that Ms. Reba would love, but it was around $3500.00.

ESP is really good at making quality guitars for the price tag of "shit guitars". Deffo a quality brand I wouldn't mind buying from.
I'm more of a Schecter and Gibson guy, myself. But then again, brands like Ibanez and Gibson, you could pay the price of a nice guitar, and still get dogshit.

Ok, you bunch of numb nutz, let me settle this moronic "it's not an ESP" argument. The LTD series is a lower level series manufactured by ESP. Unlike Gibson with their Asian line Epiphone and Fender with Squier, ESP and other guitar manufacturers like PRS, G&L etc., chose not to designate the budget brands with a separate name brand. Therefore, yes, an LTD is in fact an ESP. BTW, the LTD series is a very popular brand among the metal genre and can cost over $1000 easy.
