    One of the most underrated movies ever. Won only two oscars, best supporting role, Peggy Ashcroft, (there were far better actors…) music, Jarre) One reason: because that year some excellent movies were in competition… Amadeus, the killing fields, places in the heart, etc. This was far from a poor film. Really worth buying!

    David Lean and Sir Richard Attenborough should have consulted the Indian Film Producers and Directors how to film in India they the Indian film Producers and the Directors said to them brilliant music soundtrack

    A poor film lets face it, think Mr Lean, great as he was, should have retired after Ryans daughter .

      Can't agree. It was even better than Ryan's daughter. In my humble opinion.

      ​@@nitinthakur6569 I agree with you, Nitin. Because this movie is wonderful. The human relationship between the genteel woman (Judy Davis) and an Indian lawyer (Victor Banerjee) is good. I defy anybody who says the script is not relevant. But it IS revelant. The cast is wonderful. The key music is wonderful. Everythings wonderful too.
