GM Momoy Canete was well into his 80's when this was filmed in Cebu. He is the founder of his system named San Miguel Eskrima. In memory of his legacy - Mabuhay!
Practicing for so long, my wife used to watch him teach in his back yard when she was little. She'd line up with her friends and look over the back fence almost every day. According to her, the name "Canete" is almost synonymous with doce pares in Cebu.
