With the new SDK you should add the OVRHandPrefab to the left and right hand anchors instead. Also on the OVRhandPrefab in the RightHandAchor change Hand Type in the OVR Hand, OVR Skeleton and OVR Mesh to "Hand Right" to avoid having two left hands. This will also add support for hand tracking without controllers.
Hi, your videos are great. I just have a problem, that I cant move or even rotate. The rotation and the linear movement is checked on, all is same like, dont you know what could be the problem?
Thank you for the course is super useful! I implemented the hand tracking and everything work, I only don't understand why (after deploying on oculus) if I try to grab something the last three fingers close, but the thumb and index finger are always open. I see a slight glitch when I pull the top trigger with my index finger but nothing happens
Thank you for the feedback Marco! I would make sure that you're using the latest Oculus Integration package (I use 33.0 in the video) and selecting the correct prefabs (CustomHandLeft & CustomHandRight). Worst case try redoing from beginning and see if the problem persists.
Hello, I need help please. I did all like you but I can't see correctly the hands, the hands are fixed and I can't move the fingers or animate my hand. What can I do?
Hi, I would check the course playlist link in the description and start watching from the beginning. These videos build on each other so you probably need to do something from previous videos. Hope this helps fix your problem!
You are awesome. Thank you so much. Your vr development videos are really great. Not short not long Just as it should be.
Thank you so much! All the tutorials are so outdated on youtube! This one is not only in a similar update but also simple!
Glad to help!
