This is the video that got me to sub to you guys. In the market for a tech pouch that can double as a sling/fanny. I backed a Black Ember sling/fanny on Kickstarter but it’s much larger than I would like. That brought me to you guys. Awesome awesome content and vibes. Honestly, your style, various angles/close ups, and descriptions are much better than what we see from some of the bigger players in the bag review community. Love the “what can it fit” segment too! Very thoughtful! I have one suggestion for this segment: for multi-purpose bags/pouches such as these, try adding even more normal daily essential/EDC items or even leisure items, in addition to the tech items depending on the pouches’ available use-cases. Some examples could be: travel items like passports/wallet in addition some tech items needed for travel, or just general EDC gear like multi tools, flashlights, keys and other misc daily essentials you would want to keep along with your essential tech items. Just some ideas to fill in the pockets of the items you review!
Ordered the medium and small ones 3 months ago and because of Covid delays, they won’t ship until end of Feb 2022 😭 Original arrival date was Nov..sighhh
I've been on trying a lot of these smaller tech bags/slings lately and these vids have helped a lot. I actually had both this (medium) and the alpaka tech case mini, and I prefer and kept this one. Its little extra thickness makes it more useable for what I want to put in it (phone, battery bank, charger, cables, wallet, keys), and its the smallest thing I've found that can fit all of that and can covert to a sling. That secondary ability is the real seller. I gave my alpaka mini away (nice just too thin). I think the alpaka tech case (regular) is a good size up cause it can take an ipad mini and bigger power bank/even small camera. If I was gonna go even lighter than the wandrd, alpaka has that utility pouch/modular slings (just phone + wallet and keys for those). If you have specific uses, someone probably makes it for you, but I love the flexibility and size of this one in particular. Feels nice in hand too.
I may have missed something, but the “what can it fit” section , is it about the medium or the large bag? Also, would love to see different sizes and colors mounted on prvke bags….
Hey I have a question about the aer slim pouch and the wandrd medium tech bag. When they are both completely filled with gear, which pouch is thinner? I’m asking because I daily carry the aer slim pack. Thanks!
Great review. I'm still wondering if I should get this or the Aer Slim Pouch. Main usage is as a compartment for my powerbank, cables, edc items. If I go to work, I'll just put the bag in my bag pack, if I'm going for a walk, I will just carry it with me. I think I'm slightly inclined to the Wandrd Tech Bag medium
Sorry this might come off as irrelevant... First of all, great review of the Wandrd tech bag! It has helped me make up my mind to finally purchase one! Now my question is, what kind of AirPods or charging case did you put in there? It doesn't look like the traditional charging cases but I see the Apple logo.
@@Nomads.Nation so I want the large, but unfortunately it's on backorder. BUT, the toiletry bag is available in medium. It does have as much organization but it has a more water proof material. So I'm getting the medium toiletry bag and the large tech bag when it's available. Really putting miles on my Prvke 21L haha. One thing I wish they made, it a drone pack that hooks on like the tech pouch.
what is the the blue hard drive used in the what can it fit section? i'm trying to figure out its dimensions to see if my MX Master 3 will fit in that pocket.
its a super old My Passport for Mac with a case. 1.75 inch depth, 5.5 inch height, 4.5 inch width (measurements are made at 10am on a Monday by someone who doesn't measure things very often, so they are approximate at best)
update for anyone wondering: I just got the medium pouch and my mx master 3 mouse fits great in the mentioned pocket. only surprise was the exterior material is now tarpaulin not rip stop nylon, but that's not a problem for me
