- This has to be one of the best experience I've ever done in life and what a life changing journey it was. From start to finish the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. I hope you guys enjoy this video as much as I do.
Just want to thank my uncle Alan for inspiring me to complete this journey, My dad who drove 10 hours to pick me up and drop me off, my cameraman Andy for not calling me crazy when I told him a day before that 'd like to start this journey, and willingly shot this video for you all. And the biggest thank you to the lovely US family in the RV who pick us up for the last two miles on day 3. Lifesavers!!
There would of been more drone shots, but we had so many technical faults with our drone

Oh my god! Completely didn't expect seeing such a video in a Miss HK's channel (I know I sound stereotype =p). Lisa-marie, you are INCREDIBLE! Thank you for bringing us this gorgeous and ethereal Scottish landscape! It is breathtaking! Also, your fitness is just amazing, you actually make me realize that I have to work-out even harder. To avoid foot blister, you can also 2 layer of socks- a thinner inner sock and a hiking sock for outer one.
Great note. Yes we managed to find some anti blister hiking socks after.

the trail looked fab and the whole clip was put together very nicely! remind me days of DoE. I will show this to my daughter. I thought I saw a map at the Bothy too, just felt great! btw, two layers of socks can help reducing the chance of having blisters too. Keep up with the excellent works!

Absolutely marvellous! It makes me recall the days when I lived in Central Scotland back in the late 90s, hiking up the mountains see all these things in the gorgeous nature. I still remember the air and water. So pure! Will you do another video in Dunblane or Bridge of Allan by any chance?

I first attempted the West Highland way with my dad in 1980. I was 14. We didnt finish due to the weather.
I was then going to do it in 2020 but Covid stopped that.
Im now hoping to get it done next year if physio goes well.

great video, thanks! i'm going to walk it in July with a youth group, did you need a map for each stage of the journey? did you get lost at all? we'll have a support vehicle to carry our tents etc.. are there roads near by to meet the support vehicle along the way?
Yes we did map out all the stops that we had to reach to every night. there is many different itineraries and routes you can search up online, depending on how much you want to hike each day. Yes having a support vehicle is a great shout, for the heavy loads, bags , tent, etc. Plenty of roads for the vehicles to you. Good luck and enjoy every moment of it.
