Something's are best left for professionals with that old school tool you can get that window out in like 3 minutes the key is heating the blade with the torch
fine wire and a couple of wrenches has always worked quick and easy for me without damage to the glass even. But given the age and what the car has been exposed to the glue may not want to let it go.
The plastic gizmos are stopped you don't have to take them out in the old school way to do it we used to heat it up with a torch before we cut with that pull tool
😆 i hope there's a different way to use that removal kit. If not I hope a lot of wishes it come with a way to return them. Maybe he will explain how it works on the install. Keep uo the Great Work and Content.
Actually if you search orange bat on TH-cam it is a very good tool and seems pretty easy to use on newer vehicles. I feel it was more the high quality adhesive used in the 80 s to secure windshields it was some nasty stuff. Thanks for watching !
That center piece on the cowl grill is where the in-glass T antenna wires go down into the car to connect to the radio. Did the new windshield have the T antenna? 😊
@@LandsharkGarage you should expand your mind and use common sense. I’ve removed 12 windshields with a razor blade. You’re smartass comment needs exposing fat boy

Never a fun job. I have used a heat gun to heat up the old rubber / glue which softens things. But the objective was accomplished.
Should have tried that. Thanks for watching !
What the wire at the bottom on the windshield underneath them plastic covers. My 77 rallysport has to wire down their
Antenna
Hot Knife.. The end...
