Hello bro thank you for posting this video. on my 06 Honda odyssey rear main seal is leaking so i removed the transmission and replaced the rear main seal and the o ring that goes on the rear main seal plate for the oil pump. i wish i can give you more than one thumbs up. their is lot of videos on youtube shows how to remove the transmission but they don't show it how to do it in your own garage with two floor jack they only show with big shop lifts. your video is Awesome.
I’m watching because I’m doing a engine swap in a 2006 Honda Odyssey EX-L touring model. And let me tell you I didn’t know what I was getting into. But thankfully I’m about a hour and half to 2 hours away from firing her back up. My ole lady don’t know how to respect and drive a vechile. We been together for 11 years now and we have been thru 7 or 8 different cars. And all because she treat the car nice. Everytime the light turns green her foot is in the floor getting it going just so rough. Well I have been doing it a couple hours every other day after work if I ain’t to tired and on the weekends. I had the front of the van 5 feet off the ground on jack stands so I could drag motor and transmission out from other it. I took out a J35A4 and I’m putting back in a J30A JDM spec 3.0 liter. I’m thinking about taking the J35 and boreing it 60 over forged pistons and the whole nine yards so I can twin turbo or supercharge it. Maybe I will use that to be the first video on my new channel I want to start
Good 4 you ,unfortunately,here in CA we cant do any modifications in a car ,also girls don't really appreciate how much %$ we save when we work in our own cars i do this 4 aliving and let me tell you by doing it urselfl ur saving no less than $1500 ,that the good thing about Utube is it encourages us to learn and save ,sky is not limit that what I say
1more this g before u fire up the engine, remove the fuel pump relay and crank ir 3/4 times so oil pump primes ,then put the relay back,and thank you 4 watching
It takes ne 8 to 12 , but you need to be ready with extra parts u might need ,fir this one don't remember exactly , told the owner I needed some parts, seals motor mounts , it took a few day to get the parts ,so I didn't work a full day on it
More likely your tranny is done , check the oil if it has a rancid smell ,you gonna need a new or refurbished tranny , im located in North California, sorry ur 2 far from me
At d time it was ,$800 just labor customer provided all parts and fluids , rn would around 1k or more, if you gonna provide everything including warranty have 2 charge more,

Did the jdm transmission come with the flywheel. I heard something like the jdm transmission torque converter is smaller
