Great job! I never really knew the coating procedure & I learned a lot. Both Jeeps look fantastic & I love the Distinction Applied emblems. Utah Design Foundry makes cool block off plates for stock steel bumpers with the ends removed. I added them to my 2020 JLUR & they look good & we're easy to install.
Great video! I had Dan Cummins Jeep do mine when I picked it up. I hope they did as a good a job as your guy did. They didn’t remove the decals but I think they did everything else. I’ve only had my Jeep a month.
I put paint protection film on mine it helps to keep down scratches and rock dings much longer than ceramic. No doubt our jeeps need something especially for what they cost!

I would not wheel my jeep until I put a ceramic coat on it! Mud will still stick to it but not. Early as much as my buddies keeps and it washes off so easy!
Just picked up a 2024 392 and LOVE IT. I’ve been thinking about ceramic coating so this video gave me a good nudge. What do you guys think about Racing Optics Jeep Windshield Defense kit? It has 3 removable (plastic?) layers to protect from minor rock chips and sandblasting of the front glass. Love the videos. Keep it up.
I’m actually really curious what it cost to get that done I need to do mine. I think yours looks great Ryan too especially the paint correction with the scratches on Ryan’s. I’m sure it’ll be different in my area pricewise but definitely interested to know what the full work up was
I got mine done, and the shop talked a good game but they didn't deliver on it. That's what sucks when you pay out that much money and then the shop does a 💩job. They even left dirt on it under the spare which I found the next day in the light, buffer swirl in the paint, but I decided I wasn't going to fight with them or argue about it, I'll just fix it myself! You know what they say about if you want something done right do it yourself.
How come you didn't do the PPF first? I think that would be the first thing I did to a Jeep if I bought it brand new and do the ceramic over the top. Also I think Matts Jeep needs a GOLDEN Eagle decal on the hood now even more!!!!!!!!!!!
Would ceramic coating effect the Jeep corrosion warranty? It was tough enough getting my 2021 Wrangler JL corrosion on hood replaced under warranty at the dealership.

Hello, I see that you seem to really like the Wrangler car. Do you sell any products about it? I am a research and development company from China that specializes in modifying navigation systems. Our company is currently interested in developing a dual screen navigation system for the Wrangler, integrating the instrument panel and central control of the original car. We are currently learning about the relevant information of this car.
really fine decals are more difficult to apply to a coated surface. There is a spray adhesive promotor you can use to prep the surface and apply the decals with and they will adhere better. something simple like blocky letters will stick just fine. If you don't prep correctly though, decals will not stick well to a good coating like DQuartz or CQuartz from CarPro (used in this video)
Ryan's Jeep looks great! That's a great idea coating the inner fender Wells. That was a pretty cool lift that Kevin had in his shop. You guys might think about getting one for your shop. Looks like it picked up your 392 with ease. This is my new favorite channel by the way. 👍

Paint Protective Films are still the best protection you can put on a vehicle, however it can be quite expensive. Film is for impact and abrasion protection, while coatings are for long term easy maintenance.
It will definitely help. DQuartz topped with CQuartz is very durable. Way more durable than the clear coat that came from the factory. It is not stain proof, but it acts like a sacrificial barrier so even if it does get stained from living outside, it will take longer to stain it as bad, and the coating can be polished an another layer of coating applied. it's more about the long term preservation at that point.

It’s not going to protect you from scratches on the trail. Will help get current scratches out though.
