Big Question! Can you fit 30 inch tires on a Kawasaki Teryx with stock control arms without rubbing?

Just hung new beadlocks and 30" super grip K9 tires on my 2022 teryx 4. Turned up the preload on my fox shocks about 1.5"and beat the wheel well plate back a hair. They clear fine until wheel is turned hard when shock is compressed and I get a lil scuff. Doesn't bother me a bit other than increased preload on shocks isn't as soft a ride as stock. About to flash my ECU and install proper clutching for big tires. Love the video, same way I go at stuff.

Thank you so very much for watching and enjoying our video. Hoping to help fellow riders out with them. As soon as I get my clutches back for the 19 model, I'll make video on it as well. Just got ecu back too and installed, so be more information for riders interested in both those topics. Ride safe and GOD Bless!!!

Tight squeeze but they look good and that's what matters HA! Wish our YXZ was a 4 seater like your Teryx!

Yeah they "Fit" when the machine is just sitting there unloaded and empty. I've been running 30" tires on my 2016 T4 for 4 years now and can tell you first hand experience that those 30's will rub like crazy as soon as you put some weight in that machine and start turning and articulating the suspension. IF you are going to run 30's and want to run stock A-Arms with just a 2" bracket lift then you must do the following things: Get 2" wheel spacers, 2" Bracket lift, REMOVE the factory steel inner plates, on DRIVERS side there is a small plastic knub sticking out that you simply heat up and push it in flat. On the rear you should turn up your shocks a few turns and even then if you are loaded heavy your rear tires will scrape the rear of the cage but its not horrible. I took a hammer and slightly flattened the tube on my rear cage where the tire was lightly rubbing. If you do these additional things then you can run 30's and actually load up your machine and articulate the suspension while off-roading with little to no issues. Ive had my machine loaded with 800+ lbs of Moose or Caribou + hunting gear + a passenger and this set up worked fine and the 30's I run are true 30" tires.

I have to disagree with you bub, we ride this one without any issues. I say you don't have these 30s, so that's your issue. What tires and size you have?

@@halo-vision6623 do your 30's actually measure to 30? a lot of tires are actually shorter than marked.

Newbie here, is it a must to add 2” wheel spacers after 2” lift kit is installed.

It'd be preferable, "if go up, must go out". You lose some width when put lift, so the spacers give it back plus some to make it a better stance. Better for corners too.

I have the 29 and a half the only problem is it rubs the drivers floor board but it can be easily adjusted

The newer Teryx wheel well guards are not as easy to bend back, I can tell you that.

That's no good, I haven't looked at my 19 model because of the arched arms, but will definitely do so now. Thank you for watching, hopefully you check out our other videos and subscribe. GOD Bless!!!
