I wanted to ask you something please. How do you figure out the right metrics for your algos to follow? For example like TP and SL ... which ones do you use and how do you test their significance? Do you use the latest market data from last week, month or year and what method do you use to evaluate the sustainability of them?

It needs fast executuion e.g. buy gold at 1800.00 sl at 1799.98 target at 1800.40 Is it possible to trade gold with this type of trading with algo please help
A 2 tick stop is not very realistic unless you've tested with tick/second data. Most brokers have the same spread and for gold on average I get 3 ticks with NinjaTrader.

Great video I am looking to automate in funded prop accounts in future because I get funded and then blow out in one day. I know nothing is 100 percent, but I am thinking that automation could help take the emotion out of it. In your course do you create everything in ninja.
Hey Jacob, i was thinking to implement multiple strategies for one bot is that a good thing to do? Im still new so I'm not very experienced with trading, coming from web development and learning new things for now
@@jacobamaral So how it expressed in cumulative delta? Is it better in 1 second bars? 10 ticks bars? 1 tick bars? Is NinjaTrader8 can handle these fast bars?
there's a bug at 8:20 "% Chance of Short reversal on next bar" should be shortReversal / ... instead of shortContinuation because you are printing the same values for shorts.
@@Usmanamjad998 IMHO it's good to look at different strategies and take what it resonates with you. But I have coded a few trading bots and all of them loose money 🤣

i know ninjatrader does not have a 'stop server' for equities because their brokerage does not offer equities, but do they have a stop server for futures at their brokerage? if you get disconnected is your stop sitting useless on your PC/VPS or is your stop existing safely on their stop server?
Nice Video! What is your overall profit/loss since you started the strategy? I think that would be a really interesting video, to review your profit over the entire time, maybe also some learnings

Hey Bob, yes my course mainly focuses on NinjaTrader because I use that platform. Those skills are transferrable to other platforms too!

Yes multiple uncorrelated strategies is key! You need benefit from diversification

I see you're doing it only on 5/15 min charts....
My analysis was on 1 minute charts, HFT is more broad and can mean tick,second,minute hold times.

Most trading bots are scam... I lost so much money with fake robots. Finally I found a good bot, which is profitable, it's name is Galileo FX
I am not sure as I don't use Ninja as a brokerage, just the software portion.

Yes Hammad as long as your brokerage account allows trading with an API (most do!)

I've been running it in Sim and it's down -0.6% as of today, need more time to evaluate it but so far not happy with it.
