not exactly, you can play with the layers and some other things to improve the performance. Not the best way to work but it depends on the complexity of the project.
Oii Oliver! Eu uso vray no 3DSmax.
Very cool- The rendering looks super crisp- Would be a great touch to add some trees in the background so you can see them in the center window rather than the horizon line.
Perfectly added Bas S! You know when you work a lot on some images and you start no seeing some things? 😅 And now that you mentioned, it makes total sense! Appreciate the feedback!
Great video! I have a very important question here, even more of a dilemma: how do you edit the pictures in the same way, if you have multiple views and you have to do it in the same style as the main picture for example. Would you just do it approximately similar to each other, or is there a more technical way of solving this problem? Thank you in advance.
Thanks, Matia Mus! Unfortunately, there's not technical way to do this. Each render and scene will come out with slight variations, so it's usually up to you match them by eye. At the beginning it may be hard, but once you do many images, you start seeing the differences. And the "matching" doesn't have to be 100% correct. Just somewhat close is enough. For example matching the color temperature, and overall brightness levels should do the trick.
1 question - i dont want to loose quality when i import pictures and scale them smaller and bigger - do i always need to make a smart filter oject out of it?
Hello. Amazing work! How did you edit the entourage so that it blends with the atmosphere? Do you have a step by step process? Thanks a lot in advance.
Hey Anes, it has been a while since I did these images, so I don't remember exactly. But usually a couple of hours of post-production in Photoshop per image. Like 3 or 4 hours maybe. Plus the whole process in Lumion, but that usually is one stretch for all of the images
@@LearnUpstairs thank you so much! :) I have a question about your Photoshop courses.. i‘m an absolute beginner in this program, would I still be able to follow the tutorial? And are the basics explained? 😊
Hey Enes! Next time I'll try to go more in-depth into this. But it depends a lot on your model, scenes, and materials. But basically I use what I mentioned in the video, all the ones in the advanced tab, then start playing with the sliders to see what it does to the image. Sometimes I'll add very light chromatic aberrations and bloom. And only if needed, exposure and sharpen.
I’m a fresh architecture graduate and I’ve been wanting to produce better presentations for my projects. I’m currently using a Predator Helios 300, i5, and so far it has been limiting me to create better. Lumion doesn’t work on it, are there any alternative to use? I would like to invest on better devices and softwares and it would be very helpful of you recommend some. Thank you!
Hey Fahry, I had a lot of fine-detail nature objects, and I used all the reflection features I could, maxed it all out. That increases the render time a lot. And I was rendering only in 4k and not 8k
Almost every artist renderer that i met would do the same things. They would not depends on Lumion alone for final product. They would use Photoshop as the final canvas
Really great technique! I must say as a spanish speaker that the subtitles really helps a lot. Thanks!
Another name for it is patience ...👍👍👍
Trick with vegetation texture and brush is really interesting
OMG, you make it seem so easy! What a difference. How was your process to get to where you are right now?
👌👌👌 the result and the explanation !
The problem of using Lumion is that you need a NASA laptop
for REAL!!!
I use an 8 yearl old pc and im running lumion 11 pro at max. The problem is people who expect an office laptop to run lumion.
wtf are you talking about? hahah

It helps me a lot! which version of lumion you used?
I used the latest one, it's the 11.3 if I'm not mistaken. But any from 10 up should be good enough

hey! great video as always, I'd like to see how you created the last axonometric view in post-production if it's possible,, thanks
When editing the render on photoshop do you use a mouse or a pencil?
1 question - i dont want to loose quality when i import pictures and scale them smaller and bigger - do i always need to make a smart filter oject out of it?
Yes! The layer needs to be converted into a Smart Objects, or it’ll loose quality. That’s the only way to avoid that
@@LearnUpstairs Thank you. i will be happy about new scenes.
Incredible! 🔥
Amazing!!
thank you :D

would anyone use vector works for urban design?
Hey Jo Jo, I've heard it's really good for urban and landscape design. It has a ton of features that allow you to work on the macro scale
@@LearnUpstairs that's great to know and thank you for letting me know. Thanks for all these tutorials they have helped a lot.
Does anyone know if you can create those "alpha channel layers" with skethcup or you have to do it on Photoshop?
it's an export option from Lumion
Using enscape cuz my mid range pc cant handle the lumion's ram requirements

i've never got 2 hours on render jpeg lumion, do you mean 2 hours for video? on vray jpeg it might be for hours, hmm :/
