Hey! By the way, if you want to get Vray, I've got an affiliate link: bit.ly/vray-upstairs This is not sponsored, but by clicking on the link you also support Upstairs 😃
Could you please make a video of how to change the facade materials of a high-rise building having lots of windows and perforations in the perspective view using photoshop?
i was wondering if you are having troubles with overheating too on your notebook? lately i was working on a competition design and i had many crashes with my notebook apex 15 ryzen 9 3900 12 threads and gtx2080 due to overheating. i was trying to render in cinema 4d corona
I just have a simple question. I have been watching your videos for a long time and every time I'm impressed and intimidated at the same time. I'm a new graduate and I don't have most of the skills you illustrate in your videos, so I'm always afraid of being underskilled in many areas, so is it a must for students to master these things by the time they graduate? or is it normal if they develop it easily over time?
Thank you for the video; it was very useful. Do you have any videos about guidance on how to join an architecture competition or any suggestions for students, such as websites with low entry fees? Also, I'm wondering if there are competitions for solo students and if it is important to consider joining an architecture competition to grow mentally. Thank you.
It’s 100$/a year for students which is unfortunate but ultimately a pretty good price, if u doing arch u are likely spending more than that on materials per semester anyways
Yeah I think Enscape and Twinmotion are free for students. And wow, I didn't know about the 100$/year as a student, less than 10 bucks a month seems like a good deal to use so much during school. But I also agree with Matthew, there are all the materials students need to pay, tuition (depending on your location ), and a lot of other things... that a software isn't on the top priorities.
Thanks, Aske! The car was added to give a bit more framing to the building and also help to give scale. But I never thought about removing it 🤔 that’s a totally new perspective, appreciate your input! You know how sometimes you look at an image for so long that you get too used to some things? Haha so bringing to a video and reading the comments is interesting
@@LearnUpstairs Oh yes for sure! I totally understand and yes you tend to get blinded by details the longer you look. :) But definetly just a personal preference i think. Thanks for the nice content :)
Architectural presentations should NOT exist in my opinion. What there should be is the reality of the building and a clean exposition of it showing the concreteness of it. We should not paint chimeras of what we want as our future. We should believe in the here and now projecting a honest future with ourselves and our technologies. We should stop speculating and begin drawing a real vision of architecture. What that vision should be? Well, that's something we must find out as a specie togetherer.

Ótimo vídeo, o resultado final ficou muito interessante, convenhamos. Achei que ficou muito bem explicado 👌💕
It's amazing work. Plans are very difficult. I think you should find some guys who can rendering in 3dsmax. That will be make your work easier.

entonces no es recomendable que me compre el plugin skatter 2??
Maybe the Scatter tool in Vray already solves that need. But I recommend testing to see if it fits you
Is there any way to get v-ray free for some time for students?

Can you review other's images, like I want to see how you will do a particular image which is already been done by someone else.
Well Come
Very nice course! but personally I would have removed the car in the foreground.
