6 REASONS WHY DRAKE EARNED HIS L.
1. Drake used all those ghostwriters to sneak diss multiple rappers on every album and it finally caught up to him.
2. Drake brought up "me too allegations" into the battle with no proof and it backfired.
3. Drake was warned by Kendrick twice to not go personal and still he refused to listen
4. Drake didn't listen to wayne when he said "Keep it Canadian"..."Don't get tattoos"... "Don't rap about guns" and drake still didn't listen.
5. Drake knew he had a strong history of grooming minors but his ego ignored that and he still thought he can defeat one of the best rappers ever in a rap battle with that past.
6. The Heart Part 6 and Taylor made lost him the battle. He really only had one great song being family matters. Push ups isn't trash but its still mid from when I first heard and its still sounds mid now.
Aubrey's seemingly inability to read the room was also a factor but that might fit in with reason #3. Idk if it was the fangirl colored glasses or not but I don't recall him being so arrogant in like 2007 to maybe 2010 when I stopped listenin' to him as much. Before this beef idk it'd been over a decade since he made my playlist wrap-ups.

Looking back, even Family matters was not that good. It sounds good but when you look at the verses really, it's a cringefest (from the first second), not structured and aimless, where drake kind of repeat and emphasize the same points made in push ups (Kendrick's wife not with a bodyguard but with Dave Free). Shocking points but lyrically very poorly constructed. Even the video, once you get the van and crushed it, there's nothing of true value (drake going to a restaurant in Toronto... ok)

The most one-sided rap beef of all time is Ice Cube versus NWA. No one even considered NWA to be the winners after No Vaseline. There was nothing left to say, no back and forth, no tit for tat. The Kendrick vs Drake beef unfolded like a soap opera. It was entertaining but compared to No Vaseline, it was an after-school special.
