Hi Laura, I purchased the highlighter sock sets and the lovely mushroom project bag. The highlighter yarn colours are gorgeous! The project bag fabric is so pretty and well made. You are very talented! Have a great day 🧶 Karen
The sweater you are wearing looks so amazing! You are such a generous knitter, knitting all those gifts :) I hope the people who will get them understand all the love you put into them :)
I really enjoy seeing your projects! I’m a slow knitter so I rarely do more than two projects at once. I agree that time can really fly by when we scroll on our phone!
Since no one has said it in the comments, your OTGW Enoch project bag is absolutely majestic. I don't see too much cartoon rep in the knitting community so that was fun to see!! The show is nostalgic for me since I watched it come out on TV when I was 12 years old
Keep mentioning you knit your rib inside out. New people need to hear it all the time. I started following a couple of years ago as a newer knitter and hearing you say you did that changed the way I finish my projects.
You are the queen of stripes - the speckles in that one stripe are like the cherry on top of this colourway. Can’t wait for your update! It’s also very motivating to see everything you make and how quickly you knit things up. I don’t think you’ll have any problems making everything on you list - JUST STOP LOOKING AT YOUR PHONE! Don’t reply to any of these comments, just knit! 😂❤ I’m the same. Have also decided to make a bujo as my knitting book for 2025 and can’t stop writing/drawing in it! 😅
I love the Travel Mode Baby Blanket that you introduced me to, and shamelessly copied your colours. I’ve knit both blankets the same. Always enjoy your podcasts since your Alberta days.
As a quilter I would suggest you not clip your ends on the blanket for your friend with the granny square linen stitch. If you use the ends as a type of wadding for warmth on the inside layer of the quilt sandwich. Between the squares and the flannel or whatever backing you decide. It will add squishiness if that's an actual word lol and warmth. I love this idea btw 💙
I can definitely see the idea in that but I would be worried it would be bonkers lumpy right in the middle and then after a while the ends from the rows wouldn't be close enough to each other to provide much extra warmth. It's gonna be fairly thick but I could always add actual wadding if I wanted to but I really don't think I'll need it
@@tinyhumanknitspodcast that's great thinking. I suppose the ends could be felted, depending on the yarn but then again it would all need to be part of the plan and any gaps felted in with scraps to even out the texture. I suppose it's a matter of what someone dislikes doing more, and I don't dislike weaving and ends that much to ever go to all that trouble for something that doesn't also have a hand woven backing and was made with hand spun yarn. Yeah, I'm Not that kind of knitter lol give me a great self stripping with glorious tones and I'm in my happy place.
If you need someone to knit some tubes or socks for the shop on an as needed basis in exchange for yarn, I'd be happy to help you out. Honestly, at the moment, I am needing more time on my 9" circular, 2.25mm needles these days as it's my therapy. Plus I could use the financial help getting some fantastic yarn I'm not afraid to work for it at all. Help each other out sort of. 💙
I'm not sure I'll ever be able to farm out my sample knitting, the sock samples are a way for me to see if the colourways work or need tweaking. I actually had bought a sock knitting machine for that purpose but I found out that I much prefer doing my own knitting
@@tinyhumanknitspodcast I totally understand! If you ever need a sample of anything for whatever I'd appreciate if you would keep me in mind for the future. Thank you 💙

I've parried down my list of 'who I will knit for' and it is very small indeed

It's a horrible bad habit! I go to check something and suddenly an hour has gone by!!

I feel like I really missed out on watching it when it first came out 🥲 I would've loved it then too!
I finished BOTH pairs of my Nutcracker socks! Can't wait for your next sock set! So much fun!!!
I love that pumpkin bag!
focus, that's good. I like your bye!

That's why I keep saying it even though it feels repetitive!!

Crap! I looked at this comment 😆😆😆 from now on I won't! Don't expect any more replies from me!
Your poor partner - edged out by a pumpkin lol! Seriously tho, Enoch is adorable💕
He won't even be surprised! But he just got electricity in his garage so I don't think he's even noticed

It's such a fun pattern! (Also I love when people shamelessly copy my colours, it makes me so happy)
Your Christmas "to knit" list sounds a bit like mine. Put down that phone, I tell myself constantly. Good luck!
I'm trying to trick myself by reading on my phone. So I'm getting screen time but still workin

Gah my phone is such a time suck. Feel you there.
I feel better knowing it's literally designed to do that but also why am I so bad at resisting!?
If you figure out how to waste less time scrolling, please share!
So far I have throw my phone into the sea and cut off my thumbs.. which doesn't seem helpful when it comes to productivity

What is the show, I'm curious !
Over the Garden Wall! It's a super fast watch on teletoon. It's so weird and delightful
