These cars have intrigued me for quite awhile. The shifting gears then pressing the clutch is the exact opposite from what I was taught. Their are plenty of these at the Auburn, Cord, Duesenberg Museum in Auburn, Indiana. I took an elderly friend to that museum a few weeks ago, and he loved it.

This is incredible. I have a 1:43 scale model in creme yellow with a caramel colored softtop from Matchbox. Caramel seats. This car will age well. Those wheel arches. Gosh it's amazing.

AMAZING‼️ I learned a couple of things from this, I didn’t know the transmission was a 4 speed and “in the tree” also thought until now the hidden headlights were electric operated or hydronic I didn’t ever think that they were operated with a crank. I too love Cords. My father born in 1920 had spoken of Auburns several times and talked about an uncle from the states driving up here with a Cord, it was a fond memory for him.
