All the recipes and dishes I have made are referenced and learned on the internet, youtube, google... I'm not the first to make them, not the first to create a certain dish. . I just change the ingredients to make the dish suit my taste. And I just hope my video has an easy way to communicate so that you can successfully make the dishes that you like. If anything bothers you, I sincerely apologize.
And the last thing I am not a professional chef. I'm just a normal person, thank you.

My grandmother who was from Croatia but with Turkish roots used to make this. The pale yellow was always lemon with bits of lemon zest, the pink was rosewater with rose petals, and the pale green was pistachio flavor with bits of pistachio nuts in it. She used to keep it all in a beautiful gold inlaid wooden box by the front door. Anyone who came to her door- friend, foe, mailman, someone lost, salesman- didn't matter, everyone was offered a piece. Thank you for this recipe!

Some 70 years ago and more, my brother and I would have these delicious candies (which we simply called "jellies") every Saturday as a weekly treat in our home town of Baltimore, Maryland. They were sold in several of our neighborhood candy stores and confectionaries, and they came in raspberry, lemon, orange, lime and grape flavors. What a treat!

Turkish delight is very popular in my native Bosnia and maybe some other Balkan countries that used to be under the Ottoman rule. You can find it in most pastry shops that sell traditional Bosnian desserts and also in grocery stores. I'm not aware that anyone makes it in their household kitchens because it is so widely available for purchase at an accessible price.

The next day I go to work and we got a special order come in for some Turkish Delight, I couldn't help but laugh and tell my boss about it and was excited to make some, he said they had never gotten this order before and was the first time anyone requested it.
It was a very large amount and I had to use a big 50 gallon kettle and stir the mixture for about 4 hours straight, it was massive pain and took a couple attempts, but it turned out good, and I got to try some for the first time and absolutely loved it. I really like the rose flavor. 🤤

"We"... You must be the arrogant "my way and no other" type.
There is no wrong recipe, you just go around acting like your culture should only have the one "authentic" recipe.
      Might want to humble yourself.
(Rose water was often a filler for flavors that did not exist back then)
Note: Also, not everyone likes candy that tastes like potpourri.

Hi, from Turkey 😊✌🏻 It is one of the world-famous traditional Turkish desserts as Turkish delight. It has been made in Anatolia since the 15th century. This unique flavor, which has a very old history, has many varieties such as rose, pistachio and fruit. You should definitely eat the original Turkish delight from Turkey. other traditional Turkish desserts are baklava, Turkish delight, kadayif, künefe, asure, rice pudding, katmer...they are all so delicious🙂 Turkey is a very rich country in terms of culture.I definitely recommend you to try different traditional Turkish dishes. There is also a lot to visit, see and experience about history, geographical location, natural beauties, people, food, culture. We welcome everyone to visit Turkey.😊✌🏻❤️🇹🇷loves from Turkey.
