As a person from Baltimore, I really like Dallas. There is so much to do! Lots of walkable neighborhoods. A lot of people from ATL and all over want to move to Texas, but do not want the Houston lifestyle because it resembles Atlanta. They tell me they want to settle down. However, they like the easy access to Houston for the weekends. Dallas gives you the best of both worlds. It's very vibrant, urban and family friendly. The infrastructure is also much better in Dallas.
Thank you for dispelling the myth that Dallas has no walkable neighborhoods. Uptown, Lower Greenville, Knox-Henderson, Deep Ellum, Bishop Arts District (in Oak Cliff), Victory Park, and more are all fast growing walkable neighborhoods all within the City of Dallas.
Love your content my brother. Keep up the amazing work. I'm excited with the new attractions coming to Dallas and surrounding areas such as Harold Simmons Park and Universal Kids resort out in Frisco. So many things in development here, it's almost hard to keep up.
I love Dallas. I grew up here, but I'm out. I am not able to justify the cost vs. the quality of life for my family. Later, Dallas. Good luck, Newbies.
What you people are missing when moving to Dallas is that for the most part, the better education you desire for you or your kids or both, the safer neighborhoods the better the environment you desire, the better the reviews, the more it costs! The main suburbs you wanna look at when moving to the dfw include: north Richland hills, Frisco, west Plano, Bedford, rockwall, euless, southlake , grapevine, los colinas Irving, coppell, the colony, colleyville, highland park, cedar hill, trophy club, west lake, Arlington, flower mound. Those are the best best places to live if you want safe environment and decent education, the rest boils down to your finances and credit, background, what can you put down on the home and also if you want diversity and what can you yourself or you and your spouse afford. You’re reading this message coming from a man who’s from south Dallas and is married, both of us are mixed and we now live in a suburb in the dfw, also I’ve lived all over the dfw over my 32 years of life, I was born in parkland hospital in Dallas and raised mostly in Dallas side of the dfw metroplex and my family on my pops side(Crow family) has been in Dallas since the 1920s, Dallas itself didn’t come about until the 1860s so that should speak a lot by its self. In my opinion, despite the gentrification in a lot of places I still say avoid south Dallas, oak cliff, west Dallas, east Dallas, and parts of north Dallas like Webb chapel or forest lane or maple just to name a few in the northern part.
It is not like it used to be. Very crowded. Now getting very expensive. It is not the best thing anymore. Overbuild of apartments. Lots of homes used as rentals changing from family oriented to singles and tansient
moving to Dallas from Chicago I wish it had more things to do downtown. To me being a stay at home, childless millennial Dallas doesn’t have enough for me socially.
thank you for making these videos. I live on the coast of Virginia. There is some opportunity here but not nearly as much as Dallas. I knew if I wanted to be successful as an entrepreneur I had to go to a big city, I was trying to figure out where and now I know.
my husband and I and trying to decide where we are moving to next april. we were thinking houston but i'm really leaning towards dallas and this video really ticked a lot of the right boxes for me in term of research.
Love your content my brother. Keep up the amazing work. Dallas is turning into a Dubai, without the beach. We need new and more attractions in Dallas. if Dallas has nice beaches like Miami, it would be something else.
Currently a resident of Dallas’s less appreciated younger sibling to the west, Fort Worth, but always enjoy your content. My biggest problem with Dallas, and Fort Worth too, is that traffic enforcement is essentially non-existent. Drivers are more than willing to risk your life to save a few seconds, and police don’t appear to actively be trying to interdict that. The massive growth is only making that worse. Dallas and Fort Worth are two of the deadliest cities in America for drivers, pedestrian and cyclist numbers aren’t too good either, and I really wish there was more of an effort in both our cities to change that.
This is my number one issue as well. I’m unable to appreciate and experience all that DFW has to offer because it’s safer to stay off the roads/highways. The lack of accountability and safety on the road is insane. Thank you for highlighting this.
IDK I feel all this attention will ruin Dallas for residents it’s only going to benefit the 1% ie: Miami,Montana, ATL,San Francisco , LA ,Austin these type of industries tech and finance benefit a few but the majority of population pays for the downside of it. Gambling trust you don’t want the Adelsons in your city throwing money around and wielding influence.
It’s OK, but I don’t know fashion they don’t know how to put the clothes together. I’ve seen some outfits that just need to go back home. It’s not groomed like Atlanta and the black side met that feel that they’re successful. Don’t help their own people they feel once they become in the white community or stuff they have made it. There are a lot of black entrepreneurs in Dallas. Do they present them self as black entrepreneurs or do they have? I don’t know.❤

Totally get what you’re saying! Dallas has that chill vibe but also keeps things exciting. It’s like the best of both worlds, right?
Facts im from DC and concur what you are saying.

On god they should build the casino by American Airlines where Goldman Sachs is building (Northend). I don’t wanna leave downtown to hit a casino.

Gambling will destroy Dallas. It will bring alot of the bad things that come with Casinos.
Texas is boring. I lived there for 3 yrs. And had to leave asap. Cheap for a reason
