    What a great video thanks. How does the Viper compares to the Axis spitfire?

    Thanks for the overview, great as always! Can I ask, how does the uni foil range compare to the f-one stuff you have been enjoying recently? Are there quality differences? Is there one ecosystem you enjoy more than the other?

      Thank you for sharing the stoke, my friend. 🤙🏽 Great question. I've asked some of our resident wingers to jump in on this one to talk about their favorite setups. Please standby. Good winds! -Aaron

      Man, that's a hard one. They are both excellent foil systems. I'd say two of the best and my personal favorites. The Unifoil ecosystem offers some more options with reguard to tweaking the foils perforamance. Shims included, 3 stabilizers for different stance preferences, ect... Unifoil is very "surf centric" and offers easier pumping but lower top speeds compared to compariable F-one options. The Katana mast is very stiff but is a little thicker than the F-one.
      F-one has a massive range as well and varying amounts of tweaking. They do offer a lot of stabilizers but typically only 1-2 work well with each model. Some of their new monobloc stabs won't allow shimming. I don't find the need for it but some might. The F-one system is very sleek and fast. They have an amazing HM carbon mast if you are looking for the best of all worlds... stiffness, sleekness.
      Overall, I'd be completely happy with either brand. F-one does tend to have more readily available parts and a larger distribution network so that is nice if you need/want additional parts.
      -Tucker

    Which mast do you like for winging the Katana 83, 95, or other? Which tails do you like for winging in 20mph+ in small to med rolling wind swell? And last one: which F One board are using and are the tracks forward enough for the Uni setup, do you put the mast mid box or all the way in front?

      95 versus 83 is a bit of a personal preference.
      95 makes turning and handling big swell much easier. On a bigger wing 83 will feel stiffer and it also pops out of the water a bit quicker. It’s definitely nice to tack on a 95 because you have so much more time and won’t breach the tips. The 95 is really fun on the Vyper 150. Can turn super hard.

      I like the 83 for everything. Surf, wake, wing, kite. 95 is a bit long for my taste. -Tucker

      @@MACkiteboardingi enjoyed the length of the 85 aluminum. Would like to see that be the standard. 75, 85, 95.

    You didn't show the mast base and the board to mast connection. What's that?

    • @MACkiteboarding
      @MACkiteboarding  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a plate connection. 90x165mm m8 screws
