@@OhSewMindful I have only my left hand after my right hand was cut off by the plainer in Sheridan Oregon lumber mill. So trying to do what you beautifully do I can't anymore. Wish I could. Thank you for showing it is very awesome.
@@JUPANDY I'm very sorry to hear that you are no longer able to stitch 😒 It makes me even more grateful that, at the moment, I am able to do so. I hope I can bring some joy somehow, through sharing my love for stitching 🥰
Hello Julie, and welcome to my channel! On most of my pieces, including this piece, I tend to use something called 'bump' If you're from the UK. It's basically a thin wadding/batting. I like it as it's not too thick, but gives a slightly quilted feel for my stitching. You could also use felt, or an old blanket, anything like that will do! Hope this helps, Mandy x
This video was to show some of the work that went into creating the needle book; and was never intended to be a tutorial with a step-by-step guide. I hope this goes someway to answering your question Paper Princess 🙂

I started with a piece of 'bump' (batting/wadding) 5 x 10 inches. The completed book measures 4.25 x 4.75 inches. Hope this helps! x

Where is this used ?
It is used in a craft room for storing sewing needles for sewing projects. This one is now sold ☺
I have just discovered your lovely channel. What is the fabric you use for backing on this piece please?

Sorry, I do not understand? 😏 The running point?
@@OhSewMindful gracias 😘😘
Yes the runnig
@@joanaplanabosch194 It is called the running stitch but is just a line of straight stitches. I hope this helps! ☺
There are a few steps missing? N'est ce pas?
