    So after purchasing you still need a wifi box to connect this to? I purchased one with the intention of using it and returning the one I rent. But every video I see they have to connect this to a wifi box.

      Yep this is just a router,u need a modem to connect it to

    • @oliv3850
      @oliv3850 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Just by a modem !! + the router.. you typically need a modem to connect to the internet. The modem acts as a bridge between your internet service provider (ISP) and your router. The router then distributes the internet connection to your devices!!

    Thanks for your demo of this product. Recently, I purchased this model and will start my setup after your response. I am currently using a refurbished replacement that TP-Link sent me since their first router was defective. I want to setup my new Archer AX21 and realized that I already have an Admin Password setup when I first setup the refurbished replacement of the same model. Do I need to create a new Admin Password when I setup the newly purchased one? Will the system be confused when I want to login later since they both are the same model and doesn't know that I want to keep the replacement as a backup? I appreciate any ideas you might have on doing this in a smart way.

    Can I use this router if my modem is in the completely opposite side of the house? Like, can I plug the router into an ethernet port? If that would work it would be perfect but I'm not sure what to buy to get the actual wifi in that part of the house

    I have at&t and their internet provides a modem-router. I am having trouble with the internet connection when i just use the white cord to the broadband link. However, if I use the modem-router I have internet access on the new router tp link but it is also working along side the modem-router from at&t and does not provide the quick download/ stream service. Any ideas to make this work? or do i need to call at&t to figure out the solution.

      You will need some internet service from your provider in the form of a modem or an ethernet cable from their box. This simply takes wired internet and turns it into a wifi network.

The Password works fine, everything going as it should go as per the instructions... but it gives me the signal "Internet May Not Be Available" when I connect to the TP Router Network. I am at a loss. I don't understand DNS and all shit enough to be messing with things. In my experience when you go down that Rabbit Hole it is just never ending. I wish it was just plug and play. 2023 and I have to rewrite the DNS still? Fuck this, it's going back... someone else can deal with this issue.
