    Ive noticed that “Jokic haters” are mostly “Lebron worshippers.” Theres no reason to hate Jokic outside of him dog walking the Lakers in 13 of the last 14 games.

      @@skap_attackLeBron is in his late 30s while Jokic is in his prime. Comparing Jokic to LeBron now is a testament to LeBron greatness.
      People expect 38-40 year old LeBron to compete with prime Jokic. It’ll be better match when prime LeBron occurred in 2012-2018.

      @@dewman7477 Allow me to point out the hypocrisy in your comment. When Lebron has good games I hear people say he’s the goat, still a top 5 player at 39, and the greatest 39 year old we’ve ever seen. When he loses tho, “what do you expect, he’s 39.” Which is it? Is he still elite at 39, or is he washed up and we should lower our expectations? You can’t have it both ways.

Michael Jordan achieved 562 (30-point games) in 15 incomplete years because Michael Jordan retired TWO times. LeBron James didn't retire even ONE time, and LeBron James is playing 7 years longer than Michael Jordan did, yet LeBron James is just now barely reaching 559 (30-point games)???? We told you that LeBron James was both a bum and an inferior non-dominant player compared to The GOAT - Michael Jeffrey Jordan. This is a perfect example of why balding 50-year-old LeBron James will have to be dragged away from the NBA because he will never retire. These longevity accolades and longevity stats are trash, garbage, and sewer waste. • @Jay-r6s1i
    @Jay-r6s1i 3 วันที่ผ่านมา +10

    Ok what Nikola is doing is absurd. I've been watching basketball since the early 1980s. I have never seen such a dominant presence a single player has on a team that Jokic has on the Nuggets. They are one of the 10 best teams in the league with him and are the worst team without him. The West is absolutely stacked and Nikola is the only one who doesn't have a single top 100 player on the roster. Yet I would pick Denver with him against anyone in the West not named Minnesota and OKC (just a bad match-up stylistically). That is how good this man is.
    I didn't think anyone under 30 years old had a chance to crack the top 10 all-time. Jokic is a shoo-in at this point and may push himself into the vaulted top 5 at this rate.

    Look, I am not a James “hater”. He is obviously one of the great players. Or more precisely, WAS one of the great players. Guys that are able to play extremely long careers are also somewhat degraded by that very long career. If James was willing to take less money (allowing for better teammates) play less minutes (allowing him to give more while on the court) and play off ball a lot more, he would be an asset to the Lakers. Instead he is a talent drain (hell a roster slot is actually wasted on his son) and a weakness on court, especially late in games.
    Jokic has been the best player in the league for the last four years. Put him on the Lakers in place of James and they would be Champions. Put James on the Nuggets in place of Jokic and they are a lottery team.

  • @lefterisfred

    Let us appreciate that we are watching Jokic play. This type of player exists once per 400-500 players (considering that about 4.800 players have played in the NBA all time). Undoubtably he will finish Top 10-15 all time. If he gets 1-2 more rings I would say Top 5 maybe Top 3.

    I gotta put this into perspective. Bron is Magic Johnson but with the #1 scoring option role, he is a better shooter and defender (when he wants do) than Magic but the fact that he's a top scorer too makes him more ball dominant than every other pg in history. And if he wasnt the pg his shooting is still not good enough (especially offball) for him to play the 3 consistently and let another guy be PG. Here's the thing tho, Magic with his offensive limitations still had HOF talent around him and a super deep bench through most of his career. That is because even tho Magic was great he didn't get paid like a superstar. Even in 1981 he signed 25 million for 25 years, in today's money he would be getting around 3.8 million a season, which is a lot less than Bron. Which is why he could consistently play the PG and not have to take on bigger offensive roles. But Bron wanted the spotlight on him more than Magic, he wanted GOAT talks not just GOAT PG talks. So he got paid more, shot the ball a lot more, and eventually his teams are weaker and weaker, especially from the fact he isnt that great offball. His teams will always lack something, and his ball dominance without a mastered shot makes him drive more, for him to consistently be able to drive he needs more shooters around him, so he turns his guards and one of his bigs into shooters. The sole big man on his team also has to be able to shoot or the paint gets clogged, so instead of a Shaq or a Duncan he could play with he would need a Bosh AD Dirk type big. And those guys always get outclassed in the paint by dominant interior centers, so really Bron is hurting his chances at winning by his own style of play and not having enough versatility. If he had a better offball game he could get paid max money and be like a Bird Pippen mix at the 3, but since he always has the ball on offense he takes plays off on defense and doesnt have the same variety of passes he could make that Bird did, teams arent doubling him at the 3 or in the post. And he cant play a pure PG role cause his salary takes away from his chances of having that deep of a team that Magic had. Now constant off ball movement and tough defense puts a toll on your body, and if Bron did play that way he definitely wouldnt have played this long. But thats exactly it, Bron cares about himself, his money and how he looks more than he cares about winning. Bron truly had a chance to get rings every single year if he took paycuts and played as a super athletic Magic, but its his need to be compared to Michael Jordan that he ended up playing like a big ass combo guard but with a limited skillset. And a guy like Westbrook did the same thing, both were put in situations they needed to be a scorer, but at least Westbrook has more heart and energy and doesn't have as much power in the front office and media to be able to put all the blame on his teammates. Also, Russ still plays the same way and sacrifices for his team like an allstar would, even now that he is on a vet minimum. Thats something ik Bron wouldnt do.
