Excellent demonstration of the optimal use of the LRT gradients. Well done and thank you for this important content. Pictures do explain more than words.
I neve thought of animating the mask in Lightroom, therefore I used After Effects to take care of the Milky way contrast. Thank you for this technical and conceptual tip
Can you increase the clarity/exposure/contrast from say keyframe 3 to keyframe 5 in the gradient? I tried this but it seems to flicker. Or should the editing settings be the same across all keyframes apart from the first neutral one?
If you do gradients do you have to use the script for gradients only? Does it keep the other changes besides gradients? Why is there 2 in the scripts, one for sync keyframes and one for gradients?
The "Sync" Keyframes Script will synch everything including gradients and preserve any LRT background adjustments like Holy Grail and Deflicker. If you want to synch individual tools, you can use the Lightroom Sync feature with single tools, but you must leave Gradients unchecked! If you want to indidually syncrhonize only gradients, you use the special script "sync gradients only".
You need to follow the workflow starting in LRTimelapse. Check out the basic tutorial on lrtimelapse.com/tutorial/ Key points are to use only the premade gradients that LRTimelapse created and not add or delete any gradients. Also check out that "show handles" is set to "always" on the toolbar when you have a gradient tool active. That will enable you to see the predefined gradients. allo Gunter Und wann kommt das alles noch in Deutsch? Ich verstehe einiges auf Englisch aber nicht alles. Eine Deutsche Fassungen würde mir da sehr helfen.

Amazing work Gunther, thanks for making the little tutorials as well!
Great information as always, thank you!
Many thanks for these new videos & tips!
Very very very great Gunther!!!! Thanks a lot for your tutorial..!!
Thanks for your work!! Good job!!
AWESOME DUDE, KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK; BLESSING FROM THE U.K...PEACE

Great tip. Nice to know.
Thanks for the tutorial. This tips is also very useful when you use a motion device, to keep a gradient at the same place when the framing moves.
Thank you so much for this software, I bought it
Perfect! Many thanks.
Thank you this was really helpful
Thanks.
Oh man thanks for the explanation. :)
Thank you very much :)
Would be awesome if you would do an updated video for new masks in LR!!!
Sure, I'm working on new tutorials right now. Make sure to subscribe to the channel in order to get notified!
@@LRTimelapseOfficial i’ve been following you since you first put out LR Timelapse, I think #2 12 years ago!!!
@@KenToney That's awesome! 🤗
Thanks so much, very useful!
Can we add more local adjustments than the ones that are added by default?
You need to use the 4 linear gradients and 2 circular gradients that LRTimelapse provides upon initiialization, only those will get animated.
Thanks for the best App !! ;)

Yes, you can animate the settings on the gradients. But some LR Tools might introduce flicker. Check out Expert Tips video #5!

My gradients are not being applied to the other photos in the sequence

HI, stelle Untertitel mit Übersetzung ein. Hilft mir zumindest bei meinen großen Englisch lücken ;o)
