My husband and I are looking for an ACTIVE adult community for our retirement home, and with all due respect, when I view a video tour of a community where no one is there walking around the community, or very few, it gives a bad first impression of the community. I don’t want to grow old sitting in a recliner drinking a margarita, I want to be active, take classes, learn new things! Where are the residents?
From what we understand, Jimmy Buffet started saying Fins Up and using the "hands" to resemble fins! This would tell him during concerts or his shows how many parrot heads were in the audience by seeing people use their hands for "fins up"! He says by the end of the show everyone would start using their hands to make "fins"...Its a great marketing tactic for Jimmy!
