@@kromydas5063 yes I agree some monetization is required to keep servers afloat but pay to win has a clear and cut definition, paying money to gain advantages, ie, fast tracking progress, more powerful items/abilities, exclusive access to more rewarding game modes, ect. There is albeit a more limited selection of stuff you can monetize that's inconsequential to competitive gameplay but can still be worth buying, ie, cosmetics or lobby fly or ranks that don't have p2w perks. So now, let us ask ourselves, what do crate keys have? On this server plus many more, they have more powerful items, it'd be not pay to win it it was loaded only with cosmetics but that's not the case here unfortunately and that is by definition, pay to win. And as soon as you have that option out there coupled with relative popularity, someone will always pay to make sure they're at the top, no matter the game or the server. Edit: Another quick side note too, it doesn't matter if you get crate keys for free every now and again, that is a disguised marketing strategy to get people to pay for more. It's a strategy that a lot of pay to win mobile games use to entice you to spend more and more money.
i would like to point out, you duped enough spawners to be valued at over a million times the entire world's GDP in 2019.

Its a shame that Mojang does nothing about P2W servers.
All they would need is a group off 8 workers, that work around the clock [2 in each timezone], that compile a list of known P2W servers, and which will be blacklisted from hosting servers, if they do not absolve the P2W mechanisms
Being given a chance to absolve the p2w mechanisms would cost a lot of man hours of verification. Just ban them, iron fist.

It took me a while ago, but I actually was manipulated by a duper once, and it never occured to me that the guy who was with me was a duper.
So what he did was lead me to some abandoned looking base and then sneak around the chests before calling me over to look at the items. It was filled with high level spawners and he told me "this was a big find" and he wanted to split the loot and keep it quiet so peoole dont come after us for our loot.
Never once did I think duping was involved and it held for about a few months later.
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you where just like all of us, well almost all. Their is some smart cookies but I'll assume you weren't one of those kids gifted so like all of us here likely. Just a dumb kid still learning like all of us, trying to realize "shadyness"

i actually had a similiar experience he asked for a vote key and i did because he said he was a youtuber and later he started opening a ton of keys and i still didnt know what was happening and just assumed he got lucky then we went to another server and i guess he duped there as well and i just went along and he made me god tier armor which saved me from a hacker

fun fact: the chest at 10:52 has about 19 quintillion and 8 quadrillion spawners in total. if a spawner worth 20m in game coins, a total of 634 moles of coins were duped.

Though it's hilarious that from duping in a videogame you can have billions of USD under your name, brings to attention how stupid this whole "artificially rare virtual objects that you can pay money to own" concept is.
Tell that to every skin owner in CS:GO
You should try doing this over periods of time, dupe some, distribute some, its what I used to do in country side p2w servers, otherwise they'd just roll back, but if you do it over time, at a point even if they roll back its already too late, please try that!
I've said this about DT's and Horizon's dupe videos, they absolutely ham fist the distributions on all of them without making any kind of lasting impact. They need to be distributing over time and leaving shit in chests all over the map for people to find, do it over the course of a month or two so even if the operators wanted to rollback they would essentially need to wipe to recover. That hits them where it hurts as everyone that has already pumped money in to buy shit will lose everything and most likely go elsewhere.
Once the setup is complete sure go nuts and make their big "content" piece by spam dropping at an event or going round spawn giving out stacks, that just lets the owners think they won by rolling back the last 24 hours or so.
If not for the mod, you could have probably made each spawner more valuable than the entire planet.

It’s skyblock, each player is in different servers, so I’m guessing it wouldn’t work expect for yourself.

Me and a bunch of friends once destroyed a relatively small Skyblock server
It was all non monetized and everything, but the admin and his friends would heavily abuse their power and once set our base on fire and stole all our iron (which was a very limited ressource)
We also know that they don't keep backups though and so we logged on at 2 am and removed all of their bases, burned all the items and only left the small spawn island
They never even figured out tvat it was us and suspected that hackers did it for some reason
Imagine if Ea-nasir had your copper duping capabilities
If you find a hard to detect dupe, can’t you just dupe tons of items and distrubute them between like 20 alts and wait like a year and THEN slowly giving away valuable things for the duration of a year or something like that. Rolling back all of that will be extremely difficult and it’s actually gonna ruin a economy.
A) There is always the turbo kill switch of resetting the minecraft world.
B) Who the fuck knows what could happen and change in a year, between game additions or changes in the server and economy etc
C) It's waiting a whole ass year
It has been six months, so he would be only halfway done waiting if he was following your advice
Waiting just a week is plenty, a lot of people will invest a lot of time into progress in the server in a week, so the admins would have to anger a lot of kids to fix the server economy by rolling the world back, or they might not have the option to roll back at all because a week is a lot of time to save worlds through
@@robertpendli340 a full reset is desireable in this context, people who have paid real money for items and progress (not just shitty ranks) would be pissed to find all of it gone and likely go elsewhere which is the real point

Thank you Keep this up man. Loverfella needs to go down. I spent a lot of time playing that skyblock back in the day (before I found out about hypixel) and the levels of predatory tactics were insane. I spent more than I could afford as a teenager on there, and a lot of other people spent even more. You needed the loot for pvp or spawners, which drove the entire game and oh boy it worked. People dropped serious cash on there, and then the entire server was reset...twice. It was bad. IRL trading was also extremely common, and practically encouraged. It was nuts.
Oh, this may also be telling, but none of the players online while you were on the server are from the old days, all the vets got disgusted and left or were made admins. This server is practically a rug pull and once people realize, they dip. Thanks for what you do trooper, we appreciate you.
