I am in California. I'll be retiring in 3 more years so I am not a young Catholic gentleman but a strong, Catholic senior lady. Still, I would like to share how encouraging it is to hear your videos and the sincerity and enthusiasm you portray in your work. I also enjoy seeing your loyal dog in company.
I too have my little one next to me (or on my lap) when I'm home. May God bless and guide your life's work. Viva Cristo Rey! (Blessed Miguel Pro is another inspiring story of a young Catholic gentleman, a priest who fought the masonic persecution of thr Church during the Mexican Revolution. In the last photo ever taken of him -before he was shot by a firing squad- blessed Miguel Pro stretched out his arms in the form of a cross and shouted, “Long Live Christ the King." Have a great day🙏🏽❤️

Really loving these videos. Trying to share it around on Twitter to Catholic gentlemen. At least the ones who are Catholic first.

It looks more like St John Bosco. Ha also had a parallel story- he dreamt of two sisters visiting him and asking him about their vocation. I think the next morning when the sisters visited him and he told them what he had said in the dream without their asking, they were astounded.

Not only that but he wears the Rosary around his hand. I don't know his purpose, but it was my understanding that we don't "wear" the Rosary as jewelry or a prop.

@@lukasandisaaktime9147 I think you should read Saint Louis de Montfort's, "The Secret of The Rosary." Specifically read the last part of the 8th Rose about Alphonsus, King of Leon and Galicia.

I would be perfectly fine with it if it was on his belt like in the story. Many religious orders do that. However, I'm not the arbiter of taste. I don't care what he looks like or how he narrates as long as it's done with accurate translations and scripts that represent my dear Saint John Bosco.
Back to the Rosary... it's just like wearing the scapular outside your shirt. I guess you can if you really want to, but it can be a little bit off-putting. Definitely, if you're a part of a religious order or if it's the subject of your talk. Hmm, I guess it's a fine line. St. Louis de Montfort himself saw no need to give a sermon with it wrapped around his hand. I've just never heard of it before in all of my readings of saints. I've only seen it on TH-cam or on the hands of the dead in their coffins.

@catholicmenspodcast Thank you for your reply 🙏 😊. I wear a brown scapular, in the Confraternity, and I believe and feel that that is so very special and beyond a precious relationship with Dearest Mother Mary requiring protection, love and humility. It is only my opinion. God Bless you and yours and Hail Mary Queen of the Most Holy Rosary!!!

Question...who is the figure of the man with a large cross on his chest that appears on your Catholic Men's Podcast slogan? It looks as if he is riding a horse.
