Hi. Easy way to prove BPT
Given: In triangle ABC ,PQ is parallel to BC
To prove : AP/BP =AQ/ CQ
Proof : In triangle ABC and triangle APQ ,
angle A is common
angle APQ is equal to angle ABC
By AA , triangle ABC is similar to triangle APQ
By CPCT , AB/AP = AC/AQ
Subract 1 on both sides and reciprocal it
U will get answer
Like if it is useful

This is wrong and will not get you marks in the board exam.
You cannot use BPT to prove BPT.
You just made the two triangles similar, not congruent, so replace CPCT with BPT since CPCT is for congruent triangles. Do you see the error now?? You used BPT to prove BPT.
