Anyway my point was the gas on the 5.7 isn’t terrible in fact I’ve even used mine a couple times for door dash and it was still fair earnings after paying for the gas, surprisingly the 2005 5.7 300c is not bad on gas, took me about 4 hours of straight driving to burn through a quarter tank travelling between 50km-90km per hour. it’s about $80 to fill here in Alberta 🇨🇦 ( $1.13/Litre) calls for 87 octane, not that pricy premium stuff!

But I'll give my current time to a 2nd SRT8 300 like this to keep and build until my son wants to build the 2 old schools with me as they were his grandpa's I was talkin about
You do headers and a custom tune on these 6.1s they REALLY wake up. SRT dave beat a 392 with a diablo flash tune and straight pipes. People really sleep on the 6.1

The "scat pack" videos are everywhere right now. But alot of people don't know that in order to wear the Scat Pack Badge it has to run at least a 14 second quarter mile. Lol, I had a 1991 Mazda 323 with some basic "ricer" mods and it ran a 14. Thats not impressive, stop with these shit boxes.

The 376 (First Gen SRT8) is a better platform and engine, could handle all types of mods. Plus is also lighter than the 392 and are able to gap hellcats
