3:16 that would be a great idea to add different spells and passives to armors and weapons. It opens up more build variety for the players. Hopefully it’s not just damage boosts or gold boots or exp boosts to the weapons and armors, but something that is a bit more enjoyable and creative on what builds we can come up with.

new event map looks lit. Love the beach. It reminds a bit of Crash Bandicoot. Yet I can't but wonder if Blaze and Fainal saw something awful for the future (dev-wise) and they decide to leave
I asked Clarion about the materials sell prices and he told me he's unsure at this point if thouse will get nerf, but don't panic sell yet you've some time and there are some missing items like the void fiend cape that may still make it in the game yet
This is the first time in my two years of playing this game that I can honestly stat publicly how warm and fuzzy I feel inside about the future planning of the game, and that's a hard sell to me since I've seen this million dollar idea been smashed into the ground in so many levels that I held no hope for its survival in the long run, let alone reaching the year 2025. However one thing is certain, this is the decisive year for AQ3D, skeleton crew and players can't hold this IP for much longer, so this changes do help, but they are baby steps into the right direction compared to the competition out there, specially now with a new "WOW-ish" game coming up on Mobile on 21 July this year which might take some players, of not a lot, out of AQ3D since now they might have a way better option available for them. That said, I'm all ok with the gold re-balancing as long as it does not destroy the smooth capability of players with small guilds to access the buffs, also more automated/streamlined development tools is what the devs need more than ever since one of the main problems of AQ3D is the lack of content, but more importantly, the DEEP of such content. Branching paths with specific types of rewards (aka good and evil), plot twists or even bad endings are something this game lacks, specially knowing that the "hero journey" approach has been dead for decades now due to its severe exploitation, plus, it is predictable as hell which takes away a huge chunk of the enjoyment. I mean, what's the use of a story line if you know the ending way before it even started? In any event, we'll see how this goes, I said a long time ago that AE could not affoard another Nulgath disaster and this new Summer stuff is proof of that, they're trying to do this the right way and in that path they are actually fixing a LOT of the shortcomings and bottlenecks the game had (specially the skills cool-down that more than often sold us out to enemies that never suffered from that handicap). But how fast they can implement those changes and how further they can aim a new fresh direction in a severely stalled IP, is something we will have to wait to see. Regardless for the first time in years, I actually have hope for this game... who would have thought? - Neeshka
My concern with nerfing the Nulgath gold rewards is that they've already introduced large gold sinks like infusion and guild buffs, what sucks more, gold feeling worthless or gold feeling high value but super difficult to obtain? I'd be more content with Nulgath gold nerfs if we end up getting new gold farms in future major content.
The items in the game majority of themselves for like five gold or nothing at all the whole selling system is broken. The cost of augmenting and infusing is totally imbalanced against the amount of gold you can earn by regular means. It's foolish to have the most powerful weapons only in one location they should be spread across the whole game around difficult enemies. Difficult enemies should have higher experience drops based on their difficulty or secrecy. I've noticed that the developers of aq3d are basically trying to bail water out of a boat filled with holes that is sinking rapidly. While it would be common sense to plug the holes instead of only bailing out water. The aq3d developers just keep bailing the water out not plugging the holes as the boat rapidly sinks imo.😅
The problem is guild boosts at level 5 are very expensive. If you want to run them around the clock your guild needs to farm a lot of gold. My guild has a 50% tax rate just to keep guild boost active.
Tbh, I don't think guild boosts were intended to be run 24/7. I think they're more designed for war/raid parties, to be used for special guild activities. If the gold rates accumulated at a higher rate. Then it would cause bigger issues with the gold economy that Clarion mentioned. And as an incentive to be in a guild. If you think about it. 50% GTax is a bit high, and if the gold economy shifts in ways to make it worth something... That GTax is going to swiftly become a reason for players to prefer being solo vs in a guild. As a suggestion for any guild boss... With the value of gold being changed sometime in the future. Guild leaders are going to have to find other ways to give added value to belonging to a guild. Of course, that said. It isn't unreasonable to inquire with the Devs on how GTax and/or guild boosts might be modified along with the changes to help guilds demonstrate value... Another perfectly reasonable inquiry is to ask "what other guild rewards can be implemented to help guilds prosper". Just some food for thinking really.
@@rakari340 most guilds probably don't. But the guild boosts really help new players the most. Like I'm max level with max armor and weapons from nulgath. So I don't care about the guild boosts as much. But for new players those guild boosts help A LOT
@@bernieburton6520 yeah they do for new players. And a few guilds increased their recruiting with the boosts. I think it's those guilds that are going to have a difficult time adapting when time comes.
Interesting… so Blaze’s solution was to create a gold sink instead of actually addressing a case of imbalance, which now they are going back for. If they are serious about it, I am both keen and afraid what they will do next, there'll probably be a drought period before the fixes can land right. At least they are rethinking things, so the next saga has the chance to be better equipped and more worthwhile to experience.
If they add not only Malik's bow to the game, but also his armor set, then I will be delighted! I love collecting unusual items in this game and this set will be a great addition not only to me, but also to other fans of collecting various interesting things!
As someone who doesn't do PVP, because I don't like the pvp they have. A pvp type that is basically guild vs guild that is a Tower Defense version. That would be cool. One guild would defend a position while the enemy guild would attack. There's the ship version in Lalosia for two parties, but no one ever does it. A larger version that allowed up to 20 members from each guild would be interesting. Like the Battlton Defense area where you fight waves of monsters but it's guild vs guild for instance would be interesting.
They should fix the inflation problem, before nerfing everything. I.e. infusions and augments. Right now the pricing is ridiculously high .. especially augments. If they nerf everything, before addressing that, then everyone gonna be broke pretty fast .. heheh Fainal leaving is surely a big hit to the balance/tester team .. and potentially losing out on the empowered content sucks .. plus the missing capes, and the Dage armour set that was infused with Nation energy was also sick .. I was definitely expecting them to release one final Nulgath raid with that set. Blaze leaving was a good thing .. he was in charge of class balance, and was pretty much just undoing everything that Rabblefroth made .. he was really indecisive. Clarion seems to have good ideas, though. Hopefully we can get some answers from him about the missing Nulgath content, and hopefully it isn't just all scraped .. It would be cool if they hit on that saga one last time for the level 60 content, instead of just wasting a bunch of content that everyone wants. Maybe even put Vane in there, and add one more fainal to that saga, where it breaks off back into the main story.
The amount of good those weapons and armors took to upgrade and augment is expensive as hell though. Just the good from making some of the weapons for quest was barely half the cost to max upgrade it. Not our fault they made nulgath items op that’s on them and there inability to think further.
