Another counter to it: Use longarms to try and hit it from a distance where you can stay out of the rocket launcher range. You can always also use rocket mortars because Onyx is not that fast, and it's no tank.
They have ruined the progression system anyways. I love the core gameplay, but every game is full of bots and maybe one other real player, and all progression basically stops after you unlock all the rare/uncommon stuff.
Also another counterpoint: this mech has no way so save himself from enemy fire (shadows radar ability, shields, guardian’s system crash, etc) so unless there is a competent md in your team, every single hit you get counts
YES! We need more healing mechs and mine mechs. Stealth camo blending mechs that blend into the environment with noticeable distortions to make it fair would be game changing.
I have a support mech ability concept. It would put have a radius around it, it wouldn't put up a shield, but instead all teammates inside it get (at base level, rank upgrade stats will be listed below this) +12% fire rate, heal 500 hp/5 seconds while inside the radius. the radius at base level would be 10 meters, and each rank upgrade increases the radius by 5 meters, the fire rate by 2%, and the heal by +100 hp/5 seconds, at max level it would have a 45 meter radius (maybe less, idk), give 26% increased fire rate, and heal 1.1k hp/5 seconds to the mech and all teammates in the radius. The mech this ability would go to shouldn't have high fire power or hp, War Robots already messed up a support robot and turned it into a tank, I don't want to see this game do the same. Play with this ability a bit on the test server or something, see how it goes, if it is too powerful or too weak feel free to buff or nerf it as you want. It's not wrong to try and make things fair.
Hey i got a suggestion mech arena devs! Why don't you add all the mechs and weapons in the inventory as unlockable items! That way people will surely be more happy! I know it's suppose to be pay to win but well Woudn't that be better for free to play?
Lately we are getting some big baddies that hard to differ from tanks. I like it. Their health is just exactly what I expect when I see when I see something big like that
New mech idea:The name Body swaper the ability is body swapping mechs .So on the outside it looks like a weak mech like md and it also shows low health but your mech on the inside is safe and health stays the same as how it was before and as the Body swaper mech whenever the ability is active you take no damage the ability also has a damage bar.cooldown is 12 seconds. #MechArena Mech Arena is also an awesome game and I played for a long time I hope you add this mech

I was thinking about a mech that mimics the abilities of stalker and shadow called Hunter, basically, it deals double damage while stealth but take damage normally.

A month ago i had an idea for a mech that has the same (ish) ability that onyx has! It was a rocket launcher, but you could fire the rockets separately.
I love its unique ability and badass design, the arms! Arnold should pilot this 😂But, please implement damage falloff because doing 0 DMG 1m away from max range doesn’t make sense.

I have a question! Since all the radius related skills like zephyr can pass through walls, if i launch the quad rocket at a wall that’s thin enough, will the enemy behind take damage?
Looking at the hangar, those much designs kinda remind me of WarRobots. I think it's because of their dull & dark color choice and more mechanical design than the original, plain mech designs they use to use. Or maybe it's just me😅

И с накопленными чертежами что то нужно делать,например переводить одни в другие,обычные чертежи 50 штук на 10 редких,обычных 300 на 10 легендарных,типа такой принцип,а то их тысячи уже и оружие не юзается такое обычно,а чертежи копятся без конца,удобно будет,переработка ресурсов,конвертирование и всё такое,ну и разблокать инвентарь

10k hp and the ability does 6.1k damage with 8 energy for a legendary mech? seems a bit weak or just balancing? (At one star which is the one I got) And even when get it its almost impossible to level up without money or A-coins
Ares shield stops rocket? maybe. But i shot Ares' shield with EM just in the edge while Ares itself hiding behind a rock and guess what, instead only disabling the shield Ares would go destroyed too. I think it's Ares' loss that its shield actually just a mech body extension. is this a bug or not?

Best combo for this mech would be beam weapons, preferably stasis beam 16 and gravity beam 16

I use a rail gun and long arm and it’s great for sniping. If you try and slap arc torrents it can tank decently well but gets destroyed easier.
