I think she sings softly at first because she’s not confident in her ability to heal others unless she herself is healed, so in turn she creates a story of self healing motivated by the need to heal others, she discovers at the second verse that she must be strong and direct in order to help others and that if she herself feels lost she won’t be able to provide direction to those who need it most. Her tactics totally shift from the first to second verse, she tries to soothe and calm before shifting her tactic and goal to empowering and energizing the listener! Just another take on it! 💕

She is just authentic and so down to earth, she's gone for a non-commercial type of concept, but I applaud her for sticking to her true-self and letting us witness her astonishing and pure talent.
The high notes are impressive but her delivery is what got me. She sings with such emotion that makes you feel the hurt and hope and that’s really hard to do. Truly the best vocalist.

SM has the lowest views in terms of MVs among the big3 in korea but I must say that they are musically inclined when it comes to music, lyrics, music videos, concepts, and vocals. they do not produce music merely for a trend, but what they produce are really masterpieces. i feel all the emotions when they produce ballad songs, it actually touches my heart, just like wendy's solo album, it screams perfection. the only bad thing about this is sm dont know how to promote their artists properly... tsk tsk.

Sm dont usually use ads on their mv but lately they been given to some mv comebacks especially their younger groups, also it a form of promotion since its pandemic they cant do the usual face to face fan meeting. They also have issues on their sm yt channel because of traffic (too much uploded videos) if they dont use ads the viewers count is much less than the other company. They need to create an individual acct for upcoming groups that they will be forming in the future. An “organic views” was set by exo in 2016 almost 18 million, no ads just raw count.
