Really interesting stuff from Jim/James, would like to see more............................ and great that you have an in-house trimmer, and he has his own 'FLEXI-CURVE' (in my day they were orange and filled with lead). Brilliant as ever.
So envious of what retro power have achieved, from humble beginnings to probably the best Resto mod business in Britain. Fantastic episode, all the guys are getting better and better in front of the camera along with their obvious professionalism in their chosen area of working on the cars.Churchill looks beautiful.
Great colour choice for Churchill, will really make the new shape stand out. Really enjoying this format where staff in different sections run us through what they are doing and how.
My vocabulary can't do "the speak" well enough to articulate how much you guys ability, level of craftsmanship, and also the level of professionalism - impress me. Professionalism, but without the stuffy boring elements so often associated with that high a level. Also the guy operating the CAD router, not seen him before, don't know how many takes that took, don't know if he's ever been in front of a camera before... but the professionalism, honesty and openness about being new to the processes of the machine, and his natural demeanour in front of the camera... 😳 All of Retropower is going from strength to strength and I'm loving seeing it week on top of week. THE BEST car manufacturer (you guys DO manufacture artwork in the form of cars) in Britain - fact. 👏👏👏🙌
Their camera guy is always "wandering around the shop", picking up bits and pieces for "B" roll that we see spliced in- often the very concentrated face of one of Ned and Cal's lot; often they don't even seem to see the camera. And then there is Marc, who always lets the camera guy know "We see you". Both sides still knock these cars out of the park.
No I’m sorry, if we were to put it to a vote I think most admirers would have chosen an original era colour, - just to enhance the subtle cleverness of the door deletion. (That’s not to say the actual paint job itself is not utterly superb though!)😁

A great modern twist on a classic Jag colour - one of those that says "Why the **** didn't they use that colour back in the day". Mark is certainly getting to be a bit of a hero in front of the camera, not many words, but just enough to cover what he's been up to.
Great to hear regarding offering the trimming services out. It could be a good way to grow the business while maintaining a handle on quality is to limit the number of full builds but start offering out specialist services such as the trimming and maybe the PDM side.
James, in the visual pre run, if you spot a piece of unused stock big enough to produce an additional part, can the programme be then added to or revised part way through a previously approved programme?
I been looking forward to seeing Churchill painted for weeks and it was certainly worth the wait, it looks fantastic. I'm just hoping it's owner decides to have all the brightwork chromed because I think the rendering suggested a copper finish instead.
