I'm currently on my night and like you I hate nights especially Saturday ones. its 4am now and its that time of the night when the calls seem to stop or slow down. so of course youtube on the phone to pass the time. stay safe my friend and hopefully I will have something better to say next time so I don't sound too boring.
Nice video officer! I did 3rd Shift 10 years then the power shift which is the 2000 hrs to 0400 AM. Great shift. Now they gave me first shift 0700 to 1530. I hate first shift! To many big wigs on first shift. That's what I get for excepting the 3rd stripe?! LoL. Keep safe officer Ms. Rose.

I’ve had encounters here and there when I was being childish I guess you can say. But I never talked back to a cop just always respected what they asked. All I know is they do there best and I’m blessed that cops I have encountered never overstepped anything. But I also respected them at that time and place. Still do no matter what.

Hi! Great video. As a future cadet in the academy what advice would you offer to ensure success? I’m also military and as a single mom it has been challenging sometimes being the only female with a child. Any advice for shifts like these while being a mom?
Alway been curious about this: When law enforcement is not responding to calls and do not have any current reports, are they allowed to listen to something or watch something as long as it is in plain view. I know some University campus police who sit in their patrol vehicles and have a visible presence. They normally put their phones on the windshield phone holder and start watching something due to boredom. I like the insightful videos, btw.

I work 6pm to 6am 6 nights Straight for the last five years.I find if I don’t eat and just drink coffee I feel awake but if I eat I want fall asleep.I love your Routine after work girl I just go straight to bed after having one drink pass out jump up take a shower and do it again.just Discovery Channel by the way it was nice to know I’m not the only Night owl lol be safe god protect you

Go for it! I'm assuming you're saying you're short? If so, there are plenty of things shorter people can do that taller people can't (and vice versa). Imagine a child or animal stuck in a small space that someone tall like me can't wiggle into. Maybe a car crash with a victim stuck in the vehicle where only someone smaller would be able to get close to them and assess their condition and offer aid.

I’m 5’0” and weigh 115 lbs and do this job. It’s not six flags, you don’t have to be “this tall” to participate 😂
