I JUST finished The Disappearances of Draco Malfoy and I agree with everything you said. I feel bad saying it is better than the seventh book, but it just IS. More action, more emotion, less camping. Soooooo good.
I just finished it today (my first ever HP fan fic) and HOLY SHIT I think it’s the most fun I’ve ever had with a book, 11/10 absolutely gorgeous and incredible
just finished "Draco Malfoy and the Mortifying Ordeal of Being In Love" from your last vid and wow i absolutely devoured that fanfic, it was amazing, thanks a lot for that recommendation, i might have just fallen in love with dramione TwT
If you haven't yet I strongly recommend Cruel and Beautiful World by Lena Phoria. Voldemort AU. Plot: "After years of captivity, Hermione Granger fights her way onto the streets of Voldemort's London with only the knife in her pocket and the blood on her hands. There's a checkpoint on every corner, a curfew enforced by Voldemort's most trusted followers, and the only way back to the Boy Who Lived is through the Death Eater who let her be captured in the first place. Dark world but it's also has charming and funny moments. Trigger warmings on this one, but seeing as you loved Manacled, you should be fine.
Haha well this answered my question! DoDM is *better than canon* and makes more sense and gives everyone more to do and the relationships are perfect and I could go on and onnnn. I’M SO GLAD YOU LOVED IT!! It’s the best.
Thanks for the recs! In my head there are two eras of Dramione fanfics. The first were the OG fanfics, written while the books were still being published and the movies were coming out. Out of all those, The Fallout was hands down the most popular and widely regarded as the best. Then there was a certain lull with not as many fanfics being written and then the new age of Dramione came along. And out of the modern fanfics, Manacled is without a doubt the most highly "decorated". That being said, The Fallout is my favourite (maybe because of nostalgia, who knows :D ).
I have read The Fallout, 2 years ago. Recently read, and then reread it immediately, twice, Manacled. I've now started The Auction. I'm so hooked on this stuff.😂
A week ago part 1 showed up on my feed i never actually read any type of fanfics before watching ur video. I read manacled, the rights and wrongs, the auction and dont take this sinner in a week and i just wanted to thank you soo much for opening my eyes to this wonderful world of fanfictions. Hope we can get more recommendations. I just subscribed ❤❤
Try the Lionheart it is still ongoing, and the author updates frequently. It is all the books except (currently we are over 40 chapters in and currently in book 4) with Draco in Gryffindor and more politics. It is a slow burn, emphasis on a slow burn.
ok but hear me out, you gotta try remember one thing by pacific rimbaud!! it’s pansy x neville, so a rare pair, but you won’t regret it. it’s an active wip but almost done!!
Ok, I read once a Dramione fanfiction, where they were paired in an assignment at Hogwarts to "parent their child". Basically trough a spell, a child was made from their DNA and they needed to take care of it, for a time period and basically be a family. I read it like 15 years ago and I cannot find it anywhere 😭, but I remember it was SO well written and I'm hoping someone knows the title.
I started reading Dramione in Jan 23 (Manacled) and now I'm sooo adicted 😅 The Fallout broke me nearly like Manacled. I understand that the style is hard to read, but I felt immediately connected to the characters and cried so so much during the Fic because of the (in my opinion) so well written PTSD. Have you read Perfectly in Pieces? It's one of my top three FanFics. Also with very loveable sidecharacters. (Theo ❤) A fluff one: Meet your Match You will lough everytime someone offers you "Tea?" 😉😂 (sidenote: english is not my first language, so I hope you understood, what I wanted to say 🫣)
You mentioned clean by olivieblake (and that “one thing” that happens at the end that you tried to block out) . . . and you also mentioned the dark hermione trope (from another fic) . . . well buckle up if you are gonna go on to read the sequel to clean (marked)-it’s a wild wild ride!!
@@thebibliovert I wouldn't discourage someone from reading it, just . . . buckle up . . . in the end, it's a fascinating read. basically it's H metaphorically throwing a lot of dishes around and breaking a lot of china. In one way the reader is like "yes!" because there's good reason for her tantruming, (because of all of the manipulation, propaganda, twisted indoctrination, and oppression from the cannon world that just needs to be set on fire) but on the other hand--no one should have absolute power, so we see what happens when someone--actually anyone, no matter how well intentioned or pure of heart--with absolute power can go a bit wonky
I should’ve watched this before replying to the last one but I am HERE for your recs FF and otherwise, we have similar tastes subscribing :) World of wait and hope is another big one if you haven’t read that yet -the green couch 👀 Behind the mask is an “Evil Ron” but it was done well if you’re ever in the mood for that; Beauty and the Beast -esque story Love the little heart in the corner of the chalkboard on 10/10; that is why I remember from that one I did not like My Sharp Knife either, I don’t see the ending resolving all that she did and I just didn’t get why that was redemption Apple pies Hermione seemed a bit OOC for me but I loved the Malfoys in that one, all three of them ❤ I DNFd Historical Artifacts early on but maybe I’ll go back and give it another try LOVED Remember us at war too; excellent recs ☺️
Thank you for the recommendations! Added three to my TBR. Do you have any recs for Theo and Luna? I never really thought of them as a couple but now I need it. 😅
I haven’t read any that they’re the main characters. I ~think~ they’re paired in The Erised Effect (i could be completely wrong though!) it’s a spicy quick read!
There’s one (I think a dramione, maybe a marriage law?) where Draco & Luna are a pair as side characters. I for the life of me can’t think of which one it is, I’m sorry. In it Luna is pregnant and sometimes goes about the manor nude because she thinks that is good for the pregnancy and Draco just thinks she’s adorable and worships her and isn’t embarrassed of her at all. I love when she says something off and he just chuckles and his eyes sparkle. One time Hermione goes to her for advice and when Hermione frustratedly tries asking the same question the third time Draco has been eavesdropping and cuts in to point out to Hermione that why wasn’t she listening Luna already answered the question twice (and points out how Luna’s answers were really on point if only one was listening in the right frame). If I can figure out which fic I’ll come back and tack it on here.
Actually digging around I think it may have been an unfinished work, Tying the Nott by ShayaLonnie . . . If I remember correctly I recall really enjoying it, particularly the ensemble of characters and D/L pairing, even though not complete.
I tried using calbre to add covers to my kindle for ao3 ebups and everything seemed like it worked fine, but the covers still aren't showing up in kindle. any tips?

It is so good! I still haven’t wrapped my mind around how phenomenal it is! I’m so glad you enjoyed it! 🥰

The disappearance of Draco Malloy was one of my favorites as well.
Apple pies and other amends sounds like just what I need to emotionally heal from manacled lol😅
I am here exactly to prepare my after read of menacled … I won’t start it until I find something to mend my heart afterward

TDODM gives Draco the arc that he deserved! ❤

The Fixer Upper Club is a sweet one too..set in Hogwarts 👌

thank you for this video and i look forward to more!! 😍
Fantastic video as always Jacklyn 💕 I have added Remember Us as War to the TBR. I had similar thoughts on LIATOTZA too.
I’m so glad I’m not alone!!! Please keep me updated on your thoughts on Remember Us as War!
I am currently reading this Isolation by bexchan it’s really good it’s my first fanfiction from featuring the both of them and I love it ❤

That's what I've heard! A friend of mine gave me a little insight into what happens in Marked and now I'm hesitant to read it!

I'd trust you with my life at this point. Your previous recs have ruined me in the best way. On my way to get rec wrecked with these too!🖖
This is truly the highest honor 🥹😭
No one mentioned Aurelian yet? Definitely in my top 5
love this video❤❤❤

World of wait and hope is another big one if you haven’t read that yet -the green couch 👀
Behind the mask is an “Evil Ron” but it was done well if you’re ever in the mood for that; Beauty and the Beast -esque story
Love the little heart in the corner of the chalkboard on 10/10; that is why I remember from that one
I did not like My Sharp Knife either, I don’t see the ending resolving all that she did and I just didn’t get why that was redemption
Apple pies Hermione seemed a bit OOC for me but I loved the Malfoys in that one, all three of them ❤
I DNFd Historical Artifacts early on but maybe I’ll go back and give it another try
LOVED Remember us at war too; excellent recs ☺️
