Can I understand ..why you multiplied Julio's income with 1.25? What is 1.25 ?

You have to gross up his income by 25%. The more common way is doing 1500 x .25 = 375, so 1500+375 = 1875. They did it the more simpler way which is 1.25 (25%) x 1500.
