trust me, iverson would trade in the individual accolades he got in the mid-2000s for winning. late 90s early 2000s iverson was playing hurt most nights which decreased his percentages. In vids like this one he was finally healthy which is why his %'s were better in the mid-2000s
AI and MJ would destroy today NBA teams .. AI did his work without a skilled 2nd option offensively ... During this time teams had at least 2 skilled offensive all-stars and AI was still winning games ... If AI had Shaq or a dominant center he would of got a ring...
Some may have been as fast or as quick but no one had the combo of elite speed and elite quickness like AI. And with his elite ball handling skills: Best combo guard EVER!!! Hands down, no doubt, full stop!
A.I. had some weird ass habits off the PnR. I can see why Webber was a bit frustrated playing with Iverson. Not because Iverson was a gun, but because he'd make the hard pass instead of making the simpler read. Eg, he comes off the PnR, dribbles and instead of hitting Webber or Dalembert, he throws it cross court to Iguodala, who was at the three point line. I'm like why tf you do that for lol. Sometimes it's like he had blinders on. But he was a better passer than he's given credit for. But that's how it is with most high level scorers (A.I., MJ, Kobe)
