We didn't all miss out on Cliff. I've been a fan since 1963. FYI there is even an American Fan Club. It is just that he never comes here. The infrequent times he has he is always sold out to SRO! It is very disheartening to be a US fan. I was lucky enough to finally get to see Cliff and the Shads in Denmark in 2009. I will probably never see him again but the trip was worth it!

Besides being a fantastic singer/performer, Sir Richard is also a good person. He never fell into the drugs etc like so many top performers did and still do. No wonder he received knighthood from the queen. And the shadows are good people and top class musicians too.

But he did have a little affair with Carol who was Jet's wife. His parents found out and put a stop to it quickly. Many people think this incident has a great impact on him and his relationships with the opposite sex.

IT's amazing that Frankie was right there with his fantastic contributions to the era !! Frankie had a feel like no other artist. This song still sounds great at my live gigs. (pre Covid) .. and it works well on the Cruise Ship gigs as well. My Students love to learn and play this song.
