Sakhal need that extreme blizzard event togther with the howling blizzard sound effect like in Namalsk. That need to be in Sakhal. The survival difficulty is no doubt much more rad than in Namalsk with the predator animals are no longer the 'dinner come to you easily' thing now. Lore or mission...maybe the community modders will do much better. its a big map...players need a solid mission or map lore to have this Sakhal map as 1 of the most anticipated DayZ map of the year.
@@piggybaggy242its endless debate and in the end I would say thats more a thing of taste. MGZ servers have very little mods and leand twords vanilla style.
@@piggybaggy242. I’d give it a go. The mods that are on the list are very subtle, and it keeps the map creators vision of how it needs to be played in mind.
In his blog Sumrak was saying that no fishing on Namalsk after 1.26. There is some mod that allows. Most likley you playing on some specific moded server that allows that, but there should not be frozen lakes on Namalsk now.
@@freddydayz ok but up until now you could fish on frozen lakes, that was the feature of "vanilla " namalsk, no extra mods. And I hope they remove that damage from warm food. Thats a biggest nonesence of namalsk. I can eat steak straight out of fire with no problem.
@@17MrLeon sorry mate, just checked every lake on Namalsk and none of them is frozen. Vanilla feature on every map now will be that eating hot food character gets damage. But its very little.

yeah...agree...was watching streamers playing and it seems bit more easy as Namalsk now.

MiddleGroundz would be good if they didn't follow the Streamer trend of NO BASES like bruh just put in bases
its just small experiment until patch 1.26. When Frostline goes out will reassess.
This is the first season they’ve ever done with no bases. They still do bases on their other maps.

Namalsk is a top 3 community map. Dont think it will go away with Sakhal. And not eweryone want to spend 30$ for map.
