Showing you 2 simple hacks for fixing and how to refill and revive dry highlighter marker pens and how to change the highlighter pen color to any color you want.
When the highlighters become dry they don’t work anymore and will not highlight text.
You could buy a new one but this trick will make your highlighter work again with a few easy steps.
If you prefer to change the color and not only revive the highlighter, you can also do that!
You can combine multiple colors and make a rainbow with your highlighter pen.

oh my god it works!! i bought three really cute highlighters from japan which have really cute and unusual colors and i was really sad bc one of them was pretty dry as soon as i tried it, but i ran some water into the sponge container and now it works well!!
plus i might use this trick to water down some markers that are too dark to highlight books

Try highlighter refill bottle from Fabre Castle, it's cheap and really to refill from those bottles, but the sad thing is, not many people know about it.
It costs only ₹40, and can refill upto 8 times.

I have a highlight marker how to open it has different strcture
It may open only from back but very tightly bonded
Look for a seam. Could be on top or near the marker tip.
If you can’t open it, just pull the marker tip out and pour some water or vinegar inside.
I know it's a late reply, but I just had the same problem and sorted it out by opening the back with a 'bottle-cap opener' then pulling out the refill with tongs! And yes yes! That WORKED🌟

Im from buenos aires and here no one sales ink for highliters. If so, at prices that aint worth buying other than highlighters. Though even those shops are quite rare. Thank you in advance! I'll try this hack asap and comment again how it worked.
You can use yellow ink mixed with water or light vinegar solution 80% water 20% home clear vinegar.
Like this you have refills for life :)

Most highlighters use vinegar. Smell it it smells like it.
I believe it helps to reduce text streaks but I used water only and it works perfectly.

It was not fine. Dry patches as you can see in the video if you watched it.
This was thrown out and I asked them not to throw it but to give it to me for this video.
A highlighter is fine when you have a nice even continuous like not that.
If I would use it for 5 more minutes it would not make even those uneven streaks.
