Just DL'ed, TY. American here: You guys are like the Top Gear of audio (meant as a compliment). Keep it up. Longer vids wld probably help your channel metrics. Cheers!
These two guys are in fact...THE SHIT! Funny as hell (being Canadian, I certainly appreciate the humour. And yes, it's spelled "humour"). Sean knows what the shit he's talking about. And Dan knows how to bring it about. And very easy to understand if you're so inclined. As far as this plugin is concerned, it's fantastic. I, like Sean, come from an analog background. I was trained in a small boutique studio in Toronto, Canada called Kensington Sound. It had a Midas studio console. One of, I believe only 7 ever manufactured. I think Frank Zappa had one, and maybe Pink Floyd. But I digress. So back to this plugin. You can use it on anything. Vocal, Bass, Drums, Stereo, Mono, Left, Right, Mid Side. I guess that's everything. My suggestion is Warm, Stereo, crank the odd harmonics to 100%. I can't hear the even harmonics (maybe that's my age), adjust the input and output to taste. 4X oversampling barely touches your CPU and sounds great. We're living in a golden age of options when it comes to plugins and just sound in general. Listen to these guys. They know what the shit they're talking about. Oh...and it's free.
I really like Variety Of Sound TesslaPro MKIII, I don't even know what it does, but I use it on almost every channel. Would like to know what do you guys think about it. The older version also good.
Have you tried exaggerating the signal to 100% on 'classic' character? Some sounds won't be much different on this plugin, especially if they're not harmonically rich to begin with.
Thanks guys, appreciate it!

SSL has a similar plugin where you can select or blend the order of harmonics.

Anyone know if this could be used to replace the NLS Buss(8) trick Jayceon Joshua does? His way is a CPU killer!!!

What a great concept!
I think you should aim for ~5 minutes long reviews. Some of these feel a little rushed.

It doesn't saturate shit. I keep clicking the bypass button and i can't hear any difference most of the times.
