That’s exactly what it is. When you’re hatching eggs bought with robux. You want the best egg, so you’ll continue purchasing until you get it or you’re out of money. One or the other. It is gambling but since you’re still getting something equal to or greater than the amount you’re spending it’s legally not considered gambling which is stupid af.

pretty sure it was a glitch in the exclusive egg that made the titanic and huge chances really high. im guessing this was the reason they disabled eggs, and when they fixed the bug, they got rid of the exclusives the player hatched in the exclusive egg without a refund.
In pet sim 99 if you only spend 5 dollars you can save up for a huge pretty easily with vip and even without vip it just takes longer pet sim 99 is definitely a nice change and upgrade for f2p

you left out the part when people copied pets, many people lost their expensive pets, especially the huge ones, because they traded with their normal pets and they got copied ones and they were later deleted, and big game didn't want to give back the pets that people were cheated on, I lost 100 dollars myself :/
Plus there was also the backdooring incident, where if you went into a trading server someone could just steal all of your pets and you could never get them back. A game with this many paid features shouldn't be this insecure... Even Adopt Me which isn't nearly as pay to win, has better anti cheat and security.

The Roblox ToS has a rule where you can't have a chance of something hidden when it's behind a pay wall which is why it was changed after to show the percentage like in the video. 2. After the accident about the lies of the percentage, preston made it had a countdown until the egg was removed.
I used to be a huge pet sim 99 fan but the developers got lazy and started to add less and less areas, it also took them a long time to code a mailbox onto the game, we are still waiting on more stuff to be released like voting booth, trading terminal and more

I was one of the first people to play the FIRST Pet Simulator, and let me tell you. Before, it wasn’t truly about scamming, or toxicity. I played many of Big Games games ( Ironically ), I liked all of them, except Pet Simulator X, and 99. All I want to see is a decent and actually good game from Big Games that doesn’t truly involve many Gamepasses.
Let’s hope Pet Sim 99 doesn’t become like Pet Sim X because current Pet Sim 99 is very playable for F2P players, considering you could become as strong as P2W players, albeit needing more time and some grinding (and maybe even luck)

You can hatch only 11 520 eggs per day in psx only with one hatch and without egg skip so to get hacked cat it would take you approximately 9 days and considering pixel and huge cat were the easiest huges to hatch it would be impossible to hatch rarer ones as a f2p

Nah Pet Sim 99 is way less pay to win compared to Pet Sim X And I'm pretty sure most of the stuff that was previously gamepasses in X can now be unlocked for free in Pet Sim 99
I love pet sim games. That being said, they released pet sim 99 with a bunch of new passes that you had to buy with money, one being a huge pass for about $50. At first they updated weekly. Once the majority of players had purchased the game passes Preston rolled back the updates back to every 3 weeks like they did with pet sim x, or every time they had a large update. No longer weekly. If players knew he was going to do that they may not have purchased all the passes. The clan idea is a good idea but mostly P2W so most players can't participate. You can't even join a clan without donating millions of diamonds weekly and I can't do that so I can't join one. Never had to pay to join a guild before..

I was one of the first people to play the FIRST Pet Simulator, and let me tell you. Before, it wasn’t truly about scamming, or toxicity. I played many of Big Games games ( Ironically ), I liked all of them, except Pet Simulator X, and 99. All I want to see is a decent and actually good game from Big Games that doesn’t truly involve many Gamepasses.

Ps99 isn't p2w but chances for huges are extremely low so basically you have about a 1 in 10 million to get one without luck and rebirth 2 is required so basically yeah that's the only scam part
Theres also a gane cast that cost almost 40$ to make it more likely to get a huge and it still take days of opening eggs befor you have a chance to get 1 huge

You can hatch only 11 520 eggs per day in psx only with one hatch and without egg skip so to get hacked cat it would take you approximately 9 days and considering pixel and huge cat were the easiest huges to hatch it would be impossible to hatch rarer ones as a f2p
I love how no one realizes that the main, if not only, reason they made pet sim 99 instead of updating pet sim x is to force everyone to buy their gamepasses again

I love pet sim games. That being said, they released pet sim 99 with a bunch of new passes that you had to buy with money, one being a huge pass for about $50. At first they updated weekly. Once the majority of players had purchased the game passes Preston rolled back the updates back to every 3 weeks like they did with pet sim x, or every time they had a large update. No longer weekly. If players knew he was going to do that they may not have purchased all the passes. The clan idea is a good idea but mostly P2W so most players can't participate. You can't even join a clan without donating millions of diamonds weekly and I can't do that so I can't join one. Never had to pay to join a guild before..
