Why does this have so many dislikes? The title says Home made pool table, first test, so what the fuck did you expect? Great work with the table man, im gonna try to make it myself...
There is very little dislikes, infact the percentage of people who disliked this video is 0.000653016844085%. That's assuming the amount of views on the video is 960,159 and the amount of dislikes is 627. If 960159 is 100% then 627 is roughly 0.00065%. You might have thought this because of how youtube was when your comment was posted. In 2019 getting such low dislikes is rare. One misconception about dislikes is that they are 'hate', however that's not always true. Some people dislike because they are a hater but a lot of people dislike because they just didn't want this kind of video to be recomended to them or they simply didn't enjoy the video. Dislikes don't show hate as much as critisism. When 2018 rewind was bad, it was made the most disliked video onthe platform.
I don't have the room in my home for a table, I wish I did. I have to wait for Saturday nights to play at My sister's who I visit every weekend. Like this guy it would just be nice to have something, ANYTHING I can practice my angles on. You don't have to own a $5k table to appreciate the game. You can suck at golf too and still enjoy playing. Screw the haters. Most negative comments are by people who couldn't do what you did.
Thank you, I wouldn't say it better. I agree I cant play, I just wanted to try building it myself when I had some free time. I sold the table for 160$ and I still cant play :) Next time I would build a little bit more stable/stronger table.
Janet Jian he was just showing how good the thing worked and he set a few shots to show how good that is thats not cheating its cheating that your IQ is still over 50 😛
his idea was to show that the table was good for cue control, first show the cue ball stand still, second the ball came back and third it goes forward.
Which he BARELY did. Hardly any backspin or frontspin and he had to hammer the cue ball to get that. But for $10, I guess it's alright. The hockey goal pockets are the best part of the table
You can buy rubber cushion from the pool shop or if u wanna do it ur self i think u can use the silcon powder way search for it in internet and u can also use natural marble slate or home made marble slate it is very easy and if u do it porobably u can do it as a qualty of brunswik or rasson tables
Nice work, forget about some people who just don't get making something from scratch. I am going to build a mini 3 foot pool table but need a good cushion material… what did you use for the rails (cushions) on this project? You are getting nice rebound.
I never intended to offend you. I think you did a good job. What I was expecting was you testing the cloth tension, leveling of the table to then check for slate or wood distortions, theres a few things to test with the cushions including correct mounting to the table top frame (tight contact), correct mounting positions and shaping of the cushions to have uniform corner jaws that replicate the same miss on every corner (basically symetrical). One thing I was really interested in seeing was if the reduced table weight (due to the smaller legs) had any effect on a hard contact on the cushion. It may sound silly but if that table top moves even the smallest ammount after the object ball hits the cushions, it will effect your shot and create an arc off the cushion. A table speed test is a good thing to look at for a new table too. Not that its really "testing" but it wouldn't hurt to have looked briefly at the jaw opening size and ball size (one doesnt mean much without the other) and also a quick look on pocket depth ( sometables it is possible to hit the back of the pocket and jump back out. Pocket depth is a big factor here) I think you just incorrectly named the video. Id suggest home made pool table, first game. No offense but I wouldn't try and play football on that table. Really cool project though dude.
@@balter5247 ya u r devently right either if he is intresting in the game he ll consider ur comment n correct the thing or as a not prof its a good job for him ..but the his idea its cool if there is some changes
nice home made table you have there.. i paid $219 half price for a 7 footer on sale at sears with balls and sticks included. level and a great table for the price.
1. rails (cushions) - available in Poland: allegro.pl/bandy-bilardowe-profil-k-66-nowe-import-fv-wyprz-i4923899576.html 2. pockets wide - just went to neerest bilard club, measured the pockets on real pool table and did the same at home. 3. I'm going to build better but smaller table next year, this one I sold when had to move.
Honestly, this is a totally begginers table.. not even that, respect for the effort but your hole edges - the most important part in my opinion are very weekly made, your middle whole is like an U.. the others aswell, getting used to that would just make you fail more on a regular table set
Considering it was only 120 bucks and you can build it in a weekend or 2, this is a pretty neat and cheap way to go about creating activities for yourself and some friends. I would not suggest learning on a table like this though. Going from this to a real regulation table at a club or bar will just frustrate you. Still, it is good just for something to do.
He did not use slate, the sound the balls make as he puts them intot he rack, the cost of the table, the factt hat slate is WAY too heavy for the way he built this table, there are tons of things that tell you full well it is not slate.
Nice Job. Building your own............there's a lot to be admired in that. I cannot understand how someone could open a video that says "home made pool table" and then criticize them for it. "A" for effort!
Please speak in english, i dont understand you. What kind of pool table is unreal? the one that u dont see? or the one that u play on your phone, computer??
@Goddamgunz 7ft is big enugh for home use. Remember you need a place of 4-5ft from every wall. 8ft may be to difficult, when you invite your friends who never played before.

hi i see you everywhere. so about your home made pool , what did you use as cushions
How to make it
Hellmarch its not homemade..
I expected the fucken build quality like the pyramids in eygpt. So disappointed 😞😞😞

Yeh i can afford it but i have no room
Many thank for those people, who understand that I'm showing the home made pool table characteristics, NOT my skills :)
Marcin Jasinski You did a great job, well done!
SMarcin Jasinski
No one for a moment thought you were a skilled player.
I would like a list of materials. I really want to do this
Ur not even great anyway but nice table
It doesn't seem wide enough? I might be mistaken, but I play a 7 foot at my work and this seems smaller
So much negativity in the comments..oh the power of the internet
why the dislikes? cool stuff man, good job
TomMathesonColes

Very fast cloth... very angular. Brilliant table.
can you please provide me the design/blue print? and can you please tell me the angle of rail near pocket? please
you can lay out the full instructions on how to make a billiard table?
Should have saved your money and bought pool lessons
Shut up
Joe Cain shut up
Are you a professional yet?
guessing you did not use slate... also it might be the camera angel... but is it a little more narrow than ordinary?
You cheater! You moved the balls
Janet Jian he was just showing how good the thing worked and he set a few shots to show how good that is thats not cheating its cheating that your IQ is still over 50 😛
that pool table is so cool
Dont be so negative... he obviously wants to get better at the game
nice shot at 3:21
3:20 was the best shot ever
lmao

What of the balls? Be those included in the cost of building?
What did you make the balls out of?
Dobra robota :) 10 lat minęło, masz jeszcze ten stół :)
How did you make the rails?

this is legit. ball rolls beautifully. did you use slate
Nice work, forget about some people who just don't get making something from scratch. I am going to build a mini 3 foot pool table but need a good cushion material… what did you use for the rails (cushions) on this project? You are getting nice rebound.
Fajny, fajny jak zmierzyles ile ma kazdy dolek ?
good job man!👍👍👍
why does the video have 666 likes
because pool game is the devil! mama said that
worth the price i think
Oh my god you are learning and showing us how to screw back.hahaha...
Pockets are too small you will be only to fit about 2 balls in at one time then you will have to put the balls in different pockets
Racked it wrong and when you chalked your stick and then blew on it... That defeats the purpose of even chalking your stick.
Wow cool
Ive never built a table, And I don't think I would do a better job than you have. BUT this is not how you test a pool table.

Is the mantle of wood or rubber?
is there cloth on this table?? looks too shiny, plus, the cloth would cost more than 120 if it's made for pool tables
