Time has been kind to this band I still found myself listening to their two albums , The Smile is the great stadium anthem that never was scrap that .... Marion were the great stadium band that never was . I don’t know if part of their beauty is the whole idea that they got so close yet so far Not too keen on Jamie’s hair here lol I really don’t see Marion as a Britpop band they were so at odds with that movement , their scope , their ambition , their talent . Echobelly they are not . I see them in regards to the great line of U.K. bands smiths and suede . I always felt that no matter the depths that the singer hit he always comes across gracious , no matter how many cds sold or arenas not played Harding is a rock star absolutely no doubt about it whether in the chippy or performing
That powerful voice coming from that frail frame. I wished he had people to take care of him. He's such a lovely lad. Get better Jaime, you're a beautiful soul.
Thanks for the upload! Marion were always a great live band, but this is my favourite lineup. The Program is a very underrated album, watching them play Miyako Hideaway live is a gem!
Murad! The drummer! I think you are the only member of the band I haven't met! (Played a few acoustic gigs with Jaime a while back) How the hell are you? I always felt the band lacked power without your drumming. You got some skills! Hope this post finds you well!
