Worldwide; Great review; as always. I have a set of the earlier Taylor generations I really like to throw. Thanks for the opinion on the diamond points; I've been wondering if they would damage the board.
Thanks Mike. Yeah, the points are a bit aggressive at first but as long as you give them a twist as you're pulling them out it won't kill your board. The aggressiveness wears off fairly quick but they still hold much better than a normal point.
Great review, seeing how much you enjoyed throwing these darts convinced me to get a set. I had to change the flights for standard as I can’t throw with the tiny Taylor flights. I switched the points out to a smooth silver which added to the overall look of the dart (in my opinion). These darts fly so straight love them keep the great videos coming.
Thanks for the comment. Funny enough I forgot that I had a set of the smooth silver points in my desk from the Target Bolide review. I actually used them in the Rob Cross video. Anyway, I wish I knew I had them. I agree, I think they look better on the Taylor darts.
I use silver flights as well so it really does all go together well. Probably the best looking dart I have owned since I retired my Target Daytona Fire set. Have you thrown them? Also an amazing dart but a bit long using the base set up for my small hands 😄
Yeah they are not cheap. I will say though, you can tell you are holding a premium dart. The detail and presentation is second to only the Elysian range. Mind you I haven’t really checked out the new Target 975 range yet and that’s in the same price range as the Daytona group. Although based on how I’m going with these Gen 7’s I won’t be changing any time soon

that second dart was a lovely stacker dart at 10:45 ... i could hear sid wadell saying 'theres an ocean of space to the left!', same with the next throw. and the next throw an attempted alan glazier style maximum...eventually succeeding at 13:05 .. they have better function than standard darts .... not only fast flight but stick in the board...that has to be an advantage ..

Amazing darts and amazing throwing! I seem to recall a similar average you had with the Designa Elite 95 V2's. I ended up buying the Designa's based on your review. Might need to do the same with these Target Phil Taylor's as well. Another great review!
Thank you! Oh that's right, I remember throwing really well with those darts on video. I was totally surprised by these darts though. Most fun I had making a video in a long time. Thanks again 😁
Nice darts, I have the Unicorn Phase 5s in the “rosso” (bronze) colour, 26g only issue I had is the grip got dinged up really easily but I guess they’re there to be thrown across the room 😂
Regarding the point about clockwise twisting your points, does it protect your board if you’ve got grippy points, or is it just to tighten the SPs? Top stuff as always
Yes, the twisting will help prolong the life of the board. If you pull the darts straight out you're going to take some of the sisal with you. Especially with aggressive points. Do that enough times and your board is going to start looking shredded. When I mentioned it helps keep the points tight I was referring to soft tip darts but I suppose it would still apply to the Swiss points.
Thank GB. I'd say the Winmau Blade 5 is the nicest one overall but the One80 G3 definitely gives it a run for its money. Either one is great. One HUGE important thing is to make sure you rotate whatever board you get. Especially when it's new. The goal is to make sure ALL the segments remain looking identical to one another for the entire life of the board. If one segment looks worse than another... you're not rotating enough 👍
@@WorldwideDarts perfect thanks for the advice about rotating I do rotate but probably not enough ah I burn through boards quite a bit, is there much of a difference between the Winmau blade 5 and the Winmau blade 5 dual core apart from the price??
You're welcome. Honestly I'm not sure if there's too much difference but I will say that my Blade 5 Dual Core is holding up incredibly well. It was a birthday present back in early March of this year and is holding up very well. The bull is showing some signs of wear but overall it's in great shape.
