I remember there were kids that watched WWF then there were kids that watched NWA. Kids that wore Nike kids that wore Traxx, kids that had butlers kids that had moms
I had gotten an excellent report card. My mother was so happy she said I can get a toy!!! I thought we were going to Toys R Us. But mom turned into the Five and Dime, the home of these crap toys. Even at 7 I knew this. I picked up a coloring book, when I saw two Transformers…how did that happen. She got me both. That turned out to be a fluke, as they never had anything cool again.
When I was a kid the local liquor store around the corner from my house had these really cheap little squirt guns fill them up with water and they leak so badly and every single one was like that .
@@shanester1832 The pool scene .. Hot 🔥 Much better than the original. :) haha I half expected there to be AnalogToys's face when she/he took her/his bikini off. :)
I mostly just got cheap action figures that break easily and mostly just used them for goons for my villain action figures and when they broke, I just called it battle damage.
I got a knife with the retractable blade in the 5th grade when a magic shop opened at that mall. I took it to school, and had it confiscated when I got on the bus afterschool. I had to give it to the bus driver, but got it back when I got off. The teacher and bus driver knew it was fake, but acted silly regardless.
Ah yeah. I had those paratroopers in the 1970s here in the UK. They sort of worked. I remember one I had, I dropped the chute before attaching it and the wind took the chute flying high up in a tree. Best time it ever worked, shame the trooper was not attached 😅
The Marbles is actually a good get Back in the 70’s we would play marble games The Bonanza tv is awesome enough The rest is land fill Just remember this is going back to a time when kids wanted to replicate their Parents And this junk was good to keep the kids quiet in the back seat on vacation
@That Junkman❔Mister Moose's running gag was that he would sometimes drop (PING PONG BALLS) on "Captain Kangaroo". You know I just realized something! 💡You're the forgotten 8th Dwarf, "Disoriented". 👈 *Rambo* was a very popular character in the mid to late 1980s following the release of the movie "Rambo: First Blood Part II' in 1985. So naturally there were all kinds of pastiches of him popping up. In fact in 1986 the Chicago based arcade game company "Gottlieb". Had unsuccessfully attempted to secure the rights to develop a (Rambo Pinball machine). So as an alternative, designer John Trudeau decided to create his own Rambo Pinball machine. In the form of a female Rambo like character named 'Raven'. 'Raven' is most notable for being the first Pinball machine from any manufacturer to use a photograph for it's Backglass. The Pinball machine was also well known for it's model Helicopter with spinning blades feature. Which would be activated when the player hit the high score.
The water in that canteen would dry up in no time if you were in the desert. Loved the Inspector Gadget knife. "Go, go gadget shank!" :) I didn't like the IG movie that much, they messed it all up giving IG a backstory and showing Dr. Claw. Thanks for the video
Not all of them were Trash when I had them as a Kid, Some Rack Toys were pretty cool, we had K Mart, Sears, Toys R Us, and A Rose's; but my favorite Rack Toys are the Toys for Boys, like the catalogs you get Inside the newspaper or magazines and mail away orders you get from in Comic books
all these toys were invented way before our beloved action figures, starting with the small Gi Joe action figures, from then on, you don't see these anymore, more and more kids got into the real toys(GI JOE, MOTU, TF, THUNDERCATS, POWER RANGERS, TMNT, HEATHCLIF, INSPECTOR GADGET, M.A.S.K., SUPER FRIENDS, RICHIE RICH, SMURFS, PAC-MAN, SPACE GHOST,....ETC)....... and that my friends was a lovely story,.........marius(punk rules).
I just watched Retroblasting's latest video (Collecting Culture Needs to Level Up). I couldn't make it through the entire thing because the light of his moral perfection is so blinding. But some of the comments try to drag you into the mess he's moralizing about for 37 minutes. Thought it would make for a good response video, but take it or leave it. His followers all seem like teh -t bay beez anyways...there for the milk.
0:41 While toys where shown in the mini series, 'V' never had any 'real merch'. So, I guess with the ray gun, they went for getting any money they could get.
Vintage grocery store toys have their charm, and I totally get why people collect them today.
These are the kind of toys, your alcoholic uncle would buy you while he’s at the liquor store.
😄
I remember there were kids that watched WWF then there were kids that watched NWA. Kids that wore Nike kids that wore Traxx, kids that had butlers kids that had moms

Mr. Spock Helmet with Red Siren. Label Slapping. Wonder how much for a MIB. Thanks JM,
I also enjoyed magnets when I was a kid. I had a stack of square shaped ones that were a cure for my boredom.
you and Russ should watch some Capt. Kangaroo on the live stream.
and here I thought you couldn't possibly do another rack toy video.

I'd buy that Inspector gadget toy.
If you only got one t.v. show for the rest of your life, you could do a lot worse than Bonanza!
As a kid, I LOVED the parachute toys!!!
The baby from the Babysitter set looks like it came from a Kings cake.
Dopy from the 7 Dwarfs and Dr Claw from Inspector Gadget!! Now give me my nerd award!!🤣🤣
Daddy hated the whistle! the toys are from JakPak inc. sounds like an adults only company
SUP Junkman!
Thank you for the nostalgia!
You know that dude tunes himself up while watching his own TH-cam videos.
Junkman your rack toy videos are the best
do not touch my pipe.
- General Douglas McArthur.
Wit that Zena doll based on the art in the card, it looks like a riff off Jem and the Holograms

Junk man I remember this garbage at KB Toys at my local mall
I love seeing this old crap. It makes me glad we couldn't afford many toys when I was little. Not even the cheap ones!
"stolen valor " .... LMAO
The messed up thing about that cheap pinball wasn't the generic art work but the satanic pantagram wheel on top lol😅
It's Dopy
As a kid I kinda never went for cheap toys.
