Like everyone else in this comment section I can pretty much sum up the fact that we can all agree that this tribute is fire and should get a massive attraction of views. Thank you for this great mix of composition!
OH MY GOSH I'm honestly sad I cant like this twice! The slow introduction of the motif of savathun's song into the first piece, "Sathona" is honestly genius. It fits with the hive lore and everything, where they slowly discover the worm's power and become courrupted by it more and more, until finally Sathona is no more and all that is left is Savathun. By that point in the song where you hear the full melody, that's what happened. A++ for your work, seriously!
all of this is absolutely gorgeous, but "Summoning," with its underlying motifs from "Eden," straight up made me have goosebumps for an entire thirty seconds. it's so bleak and beautiful, almost like a dirge. the first time i heard the viral chant worm its way into the music during "The Queen's Pawns," i got chills-- kudos to you on interspersing it so liberally throughout the tracks and making it sound totally natural. i have no problem picturing this as a soundtrack accompanying gameplay or cutscenes. you have real talent to create beauty. thank you for sharing it with us. :)
Savathun is responsible for alot of grief for many. The curse of the Dreaming City, Twisting Riven which in turn tormented Uldren into breaking free The Barons and Killing Cayde, having a part in Sagira's death etc. Its only right for this to be a ominous set of songs.
Bungie needs to hire you man, the first four songs alone are ABSOLUTELY well made and even if it’s only eight songs, it’s possibly the best fan made soundtrack I’ve heard.
@@ifoldyougo6517 I think not as I think Bungie is setting him Saint 14 and Crow as the future light vanguard and Ikora and Zavala may die and get replaced.
“Pro Regina”, if I know my Latin correctly, means “Against the Queen”, so, that would be either the final campaign mission or the raid music Edit: It’s actually “For the Queen”

The absolute thing I love most about your soundtrack here, especially in Sathona, is the sheer eldritch aura of tone it gives. Almost like witnessing Cthulhu or some shit. It’s filled with an immense amount of tension and dread, when the choir kicks in, it amps up further in scale, leaving my jaw agape. Fantastic work on this!! I’m hoping to god bungie comes even close to this in terms of tone, or hell, use your tracks!!

I'm not one for musical knowledge but It was absolutely brilliant. That's a subscribe right there. Keep up the good work. I look forward to your Lightfall and Final Shape soundtracks.
Every single one of these tracks is god-tier, especially Pro Regina. Thank you so much for this music, and let's hope Bungie sees this and buys this from you because it's too good!
Did anyone else get massive Howard Shore vibes from this? It's like I'm listening to music for Space Nazgûl and I love it. Seriously Sword Breaker sounds like A Knife in the Dark, Space Opera edition. It's wonderful!
My thoughts on how this soundtrack would fit into TWQ storyline (it’s really long sorry) Sathona: Opening cutscene, maybe an epic Eris speech like she did in Taken King as savathuns hive fleet closes in on oryx’s empty dreadnaught Queens pawns: the first mission, fending off the hive or assaulting them on a certain planet, could be anywhere, we see just a sample of what she is capable of as a leader of the Hive and the Taken Path of light: a cutscene back at the tower, savathuns power and potential has been shown, and the city isn’t in the right shape for war defense, so it’s time to fortify, warlocks coming up with blueprints for defenses and upgrades to the walls, hunters doing the finite work and doing some material gathering, and Titans doing the heavy lifting as the city gets ready to hold off an attack, ending in a fully repaired last city, but will it be enough? After a few missions Swordbreaker: a cutscene with savathun showing her giving a speech or menacing dialogue about how she’s smarter than her brother, who was clouded by hubris and conquest, and a slave to the logic that bound their traditions, she plans to wear down the city from the inside and strike when we’re most weak, for she doesn’t play by the rules of the sword logic. It transitions to Zavala, who is scrambling around his office as reports of guardians starting to turn on one another come in one after the other, he realizes that her song has wiggled into the heart of the guardian army and is shattered Dead gods: lots of guardians are submitting to savathuns tricks and joining her side, only the strongest are resisting, but what is the vanguard going to do to stop this? Guardians against guardians doesn’t look good politically, and is worse from a military standpoint, Zavala has ran out of ideas, but our guardian has a plan that is only stupid enough to sound plausible to cayde-6, but considering how advantageous caydes dreadnaught plan was last time, it just might work. Tricksters maze: a concentrated, stealthy group assault on a revamped savathun decorated dreadnaught that goes wrong, I guess stupid plans can’t work twice, the guardians push on, searching corridors plagued with more and more illusionary magic with each room we go through trying to find savathuns chamber Summoning: after we “defeat” savathun she shows us a vision of what she went through as a child before she became a god, maybe using it as a way to escape to her throne world, we’ve drove her off for now, but there’s still one last thing to do, kill the witch queen in her own court Pro Regina: the raid, there has been information that savathun payed smart and hid the only entrance to her throneworld where they wouldn’t dare to go to, savathuns finest warmoon. But there isn’t much time, because if we don’t take on the planet sized fortress head on with all we got, it will come just close enough to earth to wipe out humanity and any race of lifeform on it, and after that, who knows. The 6-man raid team slips through the hail of gunfire from all directions both enemy and ally from human to the house of light (and possibly cabal if they finally decide to become allies with us), destroy the weapons mainframe in the warmoon, wipe out savathuns high ranking members and finally kill the ascendant witch queen for good.
I think Savtahun should probably do what Uldren did and kill off a major character to show she isn't a villain of the week and her presence will have massive impact on the destiny universe and her actions cause severe long term damage to the sol system. I think Shaxx getting the bullet would make sense since he is infected by Savathun's song so having him get corrupted and being part of the casualties from the conflict would make it clear Savathun is a major threat.
I think having the raid have friendly Vex helping us during the raid would up the threat level Savathun has to show that even the Vex see her as such a threat they will go and help us beat her.
Nihil once again you outdid yourself...I absolutely loved this soundtrack and I really hope Bungie finds this video cause you really do deserve to be noticed by them. I say this all the time and I'm glad you finally named the track but Pro Regina has to be my favorite piece of Destiny music ever created and it's not even official work! I wish you all the luck in life and I'm very excited to see what else you create as we slowly continue our journey as Guardians and eventually are able to meet the Witch Queen herself.
I hope they do something like the devils lair thing where they used a fan made cover for the original song but this time they put one of these in a public event or social space or something Idk. I’m really hoping they go into the ttk vibe for this soundtrack again.

You just took me back to Destiny 1. Amazing soundtrack. You just nailed it man.
Pro Regina should be the Trailer for the Savathun DLC. Just thinking about it sent shivers down my spine.
Hope to see this in a future TWAB.
The fact that people like you haven't been hired to compose music for the real game is actually criminal... Awesome work!
I've got this on in the background while doing homework and I legitimately forgot what I was listening to is fan-made. Well done
Sathona gave me chills and it’s not even official this track is so good
This almost has hints of the Deathly Hallows soundtrack.
I THOUGHT THE EXACT SAME THING! More specifically in The Queens Pawns, it has the same opening as when Snape arrives at Malfoy Manor. Great use of inspiration as it flows from that similarity into their own original piece
Yes, I heard that too. The queen's pawns was quite familiar.
Lord of the rings as well at points
THIS IS AMAZING! I CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT I'M HEARING!
I read this in Shaxx's voice
I'm not ashamed to say that this brought tears to my eyeballs
Final verdict: As good, if not better, than official Bungie soundtracks
I wouldn't go saying better. But these are incredible.
Compared to most of D2 OSTs? This is leagues better. Its still below some D1 OSTs, but not most of them. I wish Bungie would bring back that D1 style of epic music like Music of the Spheres, its been missing.
@@nakfyre9512 the journey? The farm? The Deep stone lullaby? Dominus ghaul? Inner light? The darkness? Yes they don't convey the same emotion but they are still amazing masterpieces and there is nothing wrong with conveying different emotion. Saying that D1 music was great (although comparing it to my favourites in D2, D2 I prefer although if it's overall I prefer D1, D1s also very nostalgic for me), and it would be cool to get more of a fusion of the two styles.
@@seb5542 Eeeeeh. There are some GOOD SHIT in D2 dont get me wrong. Its just not in the same level. Not to me at least. D1 music always felt more special, like i wasnt in a game, but i was part of an Epic.
@@nakfyre9512 there is no bad music in destiny it’s all exceptional.
Shit is gonna get real when Savathun shows up.
Y'all better be ready.
Probs gonna be the biggest DLC ever in the Destiny universe. It has so much fucking potential and it is gonna be according to leaks. Shits gonna go crazy
@@Umbra_- ahhhhh dude this is making me exited for it
@@Umbra_- Not gonna be as big as forsaken, that much has been practically confirmed.
Hope Savathun doesn't mess around and she is a major threat and won't just be another villain of the week.
@@nostop7794 didn't they say that during shadowkeep? Pretty sure things are different now
“Truth…is a funny thing.”
YOU SNEAKY SOB! 8:26 is a total homage to Path to Oryx, and then you elevated it w/ Savathun's theme. GODLY
A++ for your work, seriously!
This is astoundingly beautiful! Bungie HAS to use this, I really hope they will. I can picture cutscenes matching perfectly with this music.
all of this is absolutely gorgeous, but "Summoning," with its underlying motifs from "Eden," straight up made me have goosebumps for an entire thirty seconds. it's so bleak and beautiful, almost like a dirge. the first time i heard the viral chant worm its way into the music during "The Queen's Pawns," i got chills-- kudos to you on interspersing it so liberally throughout the tracks and making it sound totally natural. i have no problem picturing this as a soundtrack accompanying gameplay or cutscenes.
you have real talent to create beauty. thank you for sharing it with us. :)
Sounds like Dark Souls/Bloodborne bosses OST. AND THATS A GOOD ONE. Hope in Witch Queen we get pretty epic one OST too
how can one person be so talented? you've truly outdone yourself with this one
I can't express how much I love this. The grand epic scale that it sets! I'm gonna be disappointed when witch queen doesn't have this exact music. 😁😁😁
I honestly just hope Savathun can live up to Oryx. If anyone's going to be dissapointing, I feel like it would be Xivu Arath.
Frankly if don't get a raid that's better then kings fall for Savathûn I will be disappointed.
@@gionna81 she won't die
@@savathunthewitchqueen4763 yeah but I mean if her raid (if there is one) isn't as good as kings fall I will be disappointed. Not saying she will die.
@@gionna81 Get Ready I'm coming soon guardian (:
How'd I get here? That's setting the bar pretty low... King's Fall sucked besides Golgoroth and maybe Oryx
Just in the first minute of music I feel so damn much tragedy, my god, I feel the soul of it and it's giving me chills...
Savathun is responsible for alot of grief for many. The curse of the Dreaming City, Twisting Riven which in turn tormented Uldren into breaking free The Barons and Killing Cayde, having a part in Sagira's death etc. Its only right for this to be a ominous set of songs.
@@joshgutteridge2909 Xivu Arath had part in Sagira's Death. That whole season was Xivu Arath's doing...
@@GoogleAccount-jn5qb Xivu is working for Savathun so she had a small part in killing Sagira but yeah it was 95% Xivu.
Swordbreaker is damn good.
With the teaser out a day before the 24th, I feel like this is an almost perfect fit for the theme of this expansion. Extraordinary work here.
Bungie needs to hire you man, the first four songs alone are ABSOLUTELY well made and even if it’s only eight songs, it’s possibly the best fan made soundtrack I’ve heard.
Really hoping for some bleak, grand, and cosmic horror vibes from this expansion. I want the coming of TWQ to be dreadful and give off hopelessness.
Hoping that a major character gets the axe so Savaththan can shown as a major threat like Uldren was.
@@AxisChurchDevotee i mean osiris is lightless now so maybe him?
@@ifoldyougo6517 I think not as I think Bungie is setting him Saint 14 and Crow as the future light vanguard and Ikora and Zavala may die and get replaced.
@@AxisChurchDevotee i feel it would be very poetic if eris died near the end
@@AxisChurchDevotee i don’t want blue man to die :(
Pro Regina needs to be listened to in a movie theater like holy crap man phenomenal work
An absolute masterpiece if I do say so myself.
“Pro Regina”, if I know my Latin correctly, means “Against the Queen”, so, that would be either the final campaign mission or the raid music
Edit: It’s actually “For the Queen”
why against?
Nope, it's "In favour of the Queen"
I got "for the queen"
“pro” = for/in favor of
“regina” = royal/queen
@@bruh-fw7op i corrected it
This is absolutely incredible. I really hope this gets seen by more people, including Bungie. You deserve a lot of recognition for this mate. I’m blown away
OH MY GOD YOURE THE DUDE THAT DID THE WITCH QUEEN STARTUP MENU, **YOU MADE A WHOLE SOUNDTRACK?!??** baby, share some skill with us plz you have too much
With Swordbreaker I'm getting some serious Lord of the Rings Vibes.
A MasterPiece
Bungie, hire this man.
I’m getting so much nostalgia listening to this, it’s incredible. The blend of Destiny sounds and your composing style is incredible. I get faint hints of some Zelda in there as well? but that might just be me hearing it as a Zelda fan. This is the most amazing fan made anything I have ever seen, and it should be recognized as such.
Brilliant job.
holy i cant even make a joke about this, there is so much dedication to making a whole soundtrack!
This is just getting me more hyped, I love the lore in destiny and this being the confrontation of a being that has been hinting at us for years now is gonna be amazing, with the studio increase I hope this becomes bigger than forsaken, awesome music, great content, armor, cosmetics, and most of all, a badass fun raid
Realistically, Lightfall and the other expansion after will probably be bigger. The effect of the stuidio expansion may take a bit of time to translate to faster production. But we can hope
9:00 This moment right here was just- Wow.
Wow, just... Wow. This is incredible. I have to be real, this is single handedly the best tribute I have seen- or rather heard, for a video game, period. I mean, I can't even put it into words- Bravo sir, Bravo. Bungie, hire this man.
I hear some hints of the Harry Potter soundtrack in some of these, but that's not a bad thing. This is the type of music I've so desperately been searching for on TH-cam for years.
I’m straight up going to use some of this as a BBEG’s theme in my dnd campaign
Literal Goosebumps
Stellar job my dude. I was blown away. Especially by Sathona, Swordbreaker and Pro Regina. I loved the use of Regicide but in a higher key I think? I'm not one for musical knowledge but It was absolutely brilliant. That's a subscribe right there. Keep up the good work. I look forward to your Lightfall and Final Shape soundtracks.
You really make this feel like a destiny soundtrack with the instruments and sounds you use. Really good job this sounds amazing!
Every single one of these tracks is god-tier, especially Pro Regina. Thank you so much for this music, and let's hope Bungie sees this and buys this from you
because it's too good!
Did anyone else get massive Howard Shore vibes from this?
It's like I'm listening to music for Space Nazgûl and I love it.
Seriously Sword Breaker sounds like A Knife in the Dark, Space Opera edition. It's wonderful!
It's like a mix between Pirates of the Caribbean's style, Star Wars' style, and Destiny's style and I friggin love it
My thoughts on how this soundtrack would fit into TWQ storyline (it’s really long sorry)
Sathona: Opening cutscene, maybe an epic Eris speech like she did in Taken King as savathuns hive fleet closes in on oryx’s empty dreadnaught
Queens pawns: the first mission, fending off the hive or assaulting them
on a certain planet, could be anywhere, we see just a sample of what she is capable of as a leader of the Hive and the Taken
Path of light: a cutscene back at the tower, savathuns power and potential has been shown, and the city isn’t in the right shape for war defense, so it’s time to fortify, warlocks coming up with blueprints for defenses and upgrades to the walls, hunters doing the finite work and doing some material gathering, and Titans doing the heavy lifting as the city gets ready to hold off an attack, ending in a fully repaired last city, but will it be enough?
After a few missions
Swordbreaker: a cutscene with savathun showing her giving a speech or menacing dialogue about how she’s smarter than her brother, who was clouded by hubris and conquest, and a slave to the logic that bound their traditions, she plans to wear down the city from the inside and strike when we’re most weak, for she doesn’t play by the rules of the sword logic. It transitions to Zavala, who is scrambling around his office as reports of guardians starting to turn on one another come in one after the other, he realizes that her song has wiggled into the heart of the guardian army and is shattered
Dead gods: lots of guardians are submitting to savathuns tricks and joining her side, only the strongest are resisting, but what is the vanguard going to do to stop this? Guardians against guardians doesn’t look good politically, and is worse from a military standpoint, Zavala has ran out of ideas, but our guardian has a plan that is only stupid enough to sound plausible to cayde-6, but considering how advantageous caydes dreadnaught plan was last time, it just might work.
Tricksters maze: a concentrated, stealthy group assault on a revamped savathun decorated dreadnaught that goes wrong, I guess stupid plans can’t work twice, the guardians push on, searching corridors plagued with more and more illusionary magic with each room we go through trying to find savathuns chamber
Summoning: after we “defeat” savathun she shows us a vision of what she went through as a child before she became a god, maybe using it as a way to escape to her throne world, we’ve drove her off for now, but there’s still one last thing to do, kill the witch queen in her own court
Pro Regina: the raid, there has been information that savathun payed smart and hid the only entrance to her throneworld where they wouldn’t dare to go to, savathuns finest warmoon.
Oh my WORD this is cool!
I desperately want the Witch Queen right now, but we gotta wait a whole year 😩
I think Savtahun should probably do what Uldren did and kill off a major character to show she isn't a villain of the week and her presence will have massive impact on the destiny universe and her actions cause severe long term damage to the sol system.
@@AxisChurchDevotee and then the vex might get taken by quria and a quria encounter happens in the raid
@@mcch1cken473 I think the raid should let us use tanks like scourge of the past and maybe have vex and cabal give us vehicles to use in the raid.
What ever you did the last song has been stuck inside my head since the first video props to u
I wish you all the luck in life and I'm very excited to see what else you create as we slowly continue our journey as Guardians and eventually are able to meet the Witch Queen herself.
goosebumps. seriously you have made something amazing. I've played destiny since launch and if I heard this in game I wouldn't even tell a difference
I hope they do something like the devils lair thing where they used a fan made cover for the original song but this time they put one of these in a public event or social space or something Idk. I’m really hoping they go into the ttk vibe for this soundtrack again.
Yeah, hell I could see Sathona as menu music.
@@Azrael_Equinox he has made a menu music for witch queen, it's in other video and it's a banger
@@lanz622 it's the same one as the last one, "pro regnia", I've already heard it (the ticking clock was perfection).
What I meant was the in orbit screen. In orbit currently, it's possible to hear tracks such as "bow to no-one", "deep stone lullaby", etc.
I could definitely hear Sathona there, is what I tried to say.
@@Azrael_Equinox Oh, gotcha.
This arrangement is absolutely stunning! A clan mate of mine posted this link in our destiny discord and I honestly though this was an official Destiny soundtrack. Amazing work I'm blown away!
It's only so long before they hire this guy now. That's something I love about bungie. They hire from their community.
If you had a bungie symbol as your profile picture, I would have thought bungie was giving us a teaser. This sounds so good man. And I wish this would be in the game.
Amazing job! Only got to swordbreaker so far.
I can't tell where I have heard the violins near the end of Swordbreaker and it's eating away at my soul.
Love your work. GGs
to me they sounded like the violins that are in a lot of Nier songs
This is making me so hyped for Witch Queen. I can't wait to see Savathûn in all her glory and power
Got solid Nazgul theme vibes from Swordbreaker, amazing stuff man. Where did you learn to compose like this? It's easily on par with official soundtracks.
This is so awesome! It really feels like it could be in the game.
I can imagine hearing "Path of Light" in the Tower or a new Vanguard social space.
*Mara Sov:* _Petra... I've been away for too long, and for that, I apologize. Your compassion and leadership have been a boon to me - and our people. This all started with the Dreaming City. I shall return to finish it. [sighs] Savathun will be waiting._

Now I'm all hyped up for the Witch Queen AGAIN and I want it to come out now more than EVER!!!
But seriously though, you're music is something else. This is raw talent in the works. This actually feels like Destiny music. Keeping the Hive theme in the songs, but adding in a new sense of the might of Savathûn. 20/10, 10 stars, PERFECTION!
When I close my eyes I can just visualize what’s going on. That’s how you know it’s good. This is better than what we have in the game right now. Swordbreaker is my fav, it sounds like savathun has transcended the sword logic and all we can do is run.
